Mom and Dad are working alot, bummer. I still get to go for my walks but I can tell they are busy. I do my best to take care of them, warm the bed, make sure no crumbs are left under the dinner table, you know all the things a good dog would do. We put a new picture of me up. I am hunting squirrels, had one up a tree. Was a good day.

We went to the park, as we always do, but today felt some how different. The wind was blowing but is was kind of warm. I was walking with my tail and head held high. The leaves were blowing across the grass. I wanted to chase them but Mom said no. Then we got to my favorite part of the park we call it "Squirrel Alley". They were everywhere today. The walnuts were blowing off the trees and they were out picking them up. I was so excited I was singing like a hound dog! They were so busy and the wind was making so much noise they never would have seen me comming! It must have taken us 15 minutes to get down this path. Mom kept stopping and letting me sniff the air and point. She couldnt take it anymore and we both took off running! Moms kind of slow but we ran all the way to the base of a big tree . The squirrel ran up it and I jumped and barked and pointed. I just didnt know what to do. I sure wish I could climb! I spent the next few minutes sniffing the ground around the trees and leaving my mark. What a great walk. Now back to my heated blanket.

I am not sure what when wrong. I was sniffing around the yard, nibbling on this and that. It was a good day. Later that night I woke up with the worst tummy ache ever. I woke up Mom, sitting on her works fast. She let me out to go "Potty" but I didnt have to go. My tummy was upset and I couldnt lay down and didnt want to stand. I just sat on the bed and stared at Mom as she asked me tons of questions I tried hard to answer. " Are you ok?" "Is it your tummy?" "Do you want some water?" " Need to go potty?" "Did you hurt yourself?" " Does this hurt?".....I finally found a comfortable way to lay down and rested. Mom was so worried, she called Dad. I must have looked pretty bad, she cried. Dad came home and stayed with me all day. We slept and he put out my favorite heating blanket for me to lay on. I think that did the trick I slept like a rock for hours. I woke up feeling great! Dad took me to the park and when we were there Mom called. She was on her way home from work to get me and take me to the Doctor. Then Dad told her the good news and I guess she cried again, poor mom she was so woried. Mom made me go to the Doctor even though I tried to tell her I was fine now. The ride was fun and my Auntie Jodi went with us, I love her. The Doc said I must have gotten in to something and I looked just fine. That guy knows his stuff he checked me out head to tail. So now Mom watches me like a hawk outside, no more nibbling on things for me.
