Turkey Day

Today Archie and I woke mom up early to let us out. There is snow on the ground and Archie and I love to play in it. My Dad is taking us on a walk in a litlle bit, that is special today. Mom and Dad usally work so we only get one walk but today we get two. Yippe!! I have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, I have a family that loves me and a warm and loving home. I wish all animals were as lucky. Archie and I get to have turkey today in our dogfood. YUM! YUM! YUM! It is nice having all my family home today. Hope all of you have a nice Thanksgiving like me and my brother.

New Years Day

We had a nice walk with our friends this morning. We did not see any moose, sure was glad of that. We saw tracks though. My dad went with us, he still is not feeling the best but he may go with us this afternoon. Christa said Rommel might be with us this afternoon. His master says he is giving him back because his job is flying and he is always gone. He should never have adopted Rommel in the first place. It is so hard on a dog when they go to a home and then the owner decides he doesn't want you. It is so sad. I am so glad I have a loving home. Maybe Rommel will find one like Archie and I have, I sure hope so. It is almost time for our walk. Happy New Year! We walked in the afternoon with our friends and Jessie had me on leash and jogged. He wore me out but it was really fun. We saw moose in quite a few places this afternoon, but we took trails a way from them. We saw skiers and none of us chased them we all behaved. I am worn out so I am going to go to sleep now

This afternoon we saw a moose in Christas neighbors yard. We had to be on leash and go to the dog park a different way. We did not run into anymore, thank goodness. We got to play in the woods. We saw Chase and his dad and he told Christa there were two more moose at the ball park entrance. We got home and our dad was already home, he went to see his doctor and the doctor did something to his eye so he feels much better. He says he will probably go with us in the morning on a walk with the gang. Sure hope so, it is nice when mom and he takes us. We will go a little later in the morning isnce it is New Years Day.

lots of fun

This morning mom took Archie and me to Russian Jack and we got to run and play with our friends. Archie and I just ran and played in the woods. Some of theo ther dogs did but mainly they just wanted to be around all their moms. We met a new dog and his dad this morning, Archie did not behave and mom had to get on him. We have to wear the training collars because of moose and skiers, sometime we want to chase them, we wouldn't hurt the skiers but they don't know that. We came home and got fed and then Archie wanted to go out and play in the yard, so I did.
We finally came in and I got to lay down and rest a while, Archie did too. Mom had to run to the store so she left us with our dad and he is sick so we had to be really quiet. When she came home we wanted to go back out and play some more. We got to go walking again in the afternoon with Christa, Roscoe and Sweetie. Carol, Aldie and Petra joined us. We really ran and played this afternoon in the woods, we had lots of fun. We met a man on skies and didn't even chase or bark at him, none of us. Christa asked him if we could all smell his skies and see that they would not harm us, he said sure thing. He was a very nice man. We must have been out alomost two hours, mom was really tired when she got home. It is almost bedtime now and I am very tired. I want to wish all my friends and Dogster a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Christmas Day

We woke up to a truly white Christmas this morning, everything is covered in snow. My dad surprised my mom this morning and went walking with our friends Archie and I walk with of a morning when my mom doesn't have to work and on weekends. I t was nice to have both of them walking with us this mornng. My dad seem to enjoy it as much as my mom does. I am hoping he will do it again. We got to run and play with our friends. Lily and Jake and their mom did not join us because she had to work today. We sure got a lot of exercise due to the snow. We got home and ate and then Archie wanted to go outside to play in our yard. My mom and dad ate breakfast and then we got to see what was in our stockings. We got lots of stuff, things to chew and things to play with. My mom and dad got lots of things also. After we did that everybody took a nap or watched t.v. After I woke up Archie was wanting to go back outside and we stayed out there forever it seemed like. I am really worn out. My dad was not feeling well so we skipped our trip to the lake, but I didn't mind becasue Mom was outside with us and Archie and I got plenty of exercise. Hope my dad gets to feeling better, I worry about him. Hope all my friends out there had A Merry Christmas. I know there are a lot of dogs that are not as lucky as Archie and I . I am so thankful that I was rescued by Mom and Dad.

We got up early and went walking with our friends this morning. I was a little cranky first thing this morning. Archie was really full of energy though. We ran and wrestled with all our friends. After our walk we gave Jessie his present from all of the dogs, he really liked it. Sweetie didn't have her jacket on today so she wasn't keeping up like she did yesterday. She is 13yrs old and the oldest of all of us and she is always walking slow so Christa puts a coat on her and she forgot this morning. Tomorrow is Christmas Day so there won't be as many walking in the morning. We will go at 9:00 instead of 8:30, it will be a little lighter out. We saw rabbit prints in the snow today but no rabbits.

I had so much fun on our walk this morning with all our friends, Lily and Jake was there with their mom. We didn't see any moose, which was good. We got to run in the woods with our friends and played. My mom gave Archie and me a little talk before we got there and told us we better behave ourselves, since we hadn't seen our friends for awhile. Archie and I were on our best behavior. Tomorrow we get to go again and we have a surprise for Jessie he is Vangies son, he is so nice to us. My mom picked him up something special because he has taught us how to behave around kids. He is our friend, he always loves on us. I am tired after the play time at the lake with our dad. I will write more tomorrow. Archie is even worn out.

Exercise time

Tomorrow my mom is taking me Archie and me walking with our friends. It has been a while since we have gone with them because my mom fell and hurt her head bad. She is okay now and I am so glad. I am anxious to see all my friends, I have missed them. I just have to remember to mind my mom.

Thanksgiving Day

Well today is Thanksgiving. We get to have turkey for our dinner tonight with our dogfood. My dad is taking Archie and me to the lake and mom is staying home and finishing up dinner. I can't wait to get my teethe into the turkey. I have had it before but this is Archies first Thanksgiving. He is sure in for a treat. We have been playing outside because mom couldn't take us walking this morning. The wind is really starting to blow at our house, hope it isn't like that at the lake. The turkey smell was driving Archie crazy this afternoon, not me I have smelled it before. I have so much to be thankful for I am so lucky to have a home and friends that I have. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Walking in the snow

My mom took me and Archie walking after she got home from work today. I got to see my friends Christa, her two shepherds, Roscoe and Sweetie, she also had Schmitty a rescue . We played and played in the woods and snow. It was so much fun. We came home and Archie and I played in our yard and rolled in the snow. I was a little tired after eating so I have just been taking it easy. Mom is pretty tired right now so we are just relaxing together. I won't get to see my friends until Thursday morning. We will be getting up early and taking a morning walk. I had mom send all my pals a bone from me for Thanksgiving. Good night.
