Likes:
I like to go on what my parents call "a W thing." I know it is a walk but they thing they are clever.

Pet-Peeves:
Fawkes scares me when he hisses, but I'll win him over yet.

Favorite Toy:
My newest favorite toy is my hedgehog or any toy that dispenses food.

Favorite Food:
Lately mom and dad have been taking me to local pet stores and I really like their homemade treats.

Favorite Walk:
I love walks around the lake near my house. But I get upset when someone doesn't want to pet me.

Best Tricks:
My best trick lately is to sneak up on my feline brother, Fawkes, to see if I can sniff him before he catches me.

Arrival Story:
I am a very lucky guy. I was found with my two brothers, we all had parvo. My brothers got better with the medicine but I got sicker. I needed two transfusions and surgery to remove the dead part of my intestines. The kind people at Eleventh Hour Resecue took me in and helped me get better. I spent a lot of time with my Foster family and their dogs. During my recovery, I was able to meet a lot of nice people and even though I am now in my forever home, I still like to visit with all of my EHR friends. My mom and dad say... "We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to adopt him. He is growing like a weed and hitting all of his developmental marks despite his short bowel syndrome. He requires a little extra care in what he eats and sometimes needs some extra rice or yogurt but otherwise he is just like every other puppy."

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving Percy made his first trip out to Penn State. It was a nice fall day so we walked all around campus with a stop at the Creamery for snacks and the Lion Shrine for pictures. Percy also made friends with a little girl that was walking with her family.

After we left Penn State, we continued on. The next 5 days were spent with his cousins; Sarah (Black Lab), Ali (German Short Hair Pointer) & Cash (Black Lab). They all spent most of the day running around the yard after each other. Cash tought Percy how to rip apart toys (THANKS CASH!) but thankfully that has stopped for the most part. Percy also showed his true colors as a herding dog. During the weekend we caught him sitting on the top of a hill watching all of the dogs chase after stuff in the tall grass, but if any of the dogs tried to leave the tall grass, Percy would circle around and push them back into the grass.

It was a fun weekend and Percy is looking forward to his visit with his cousins in May.
