Arrival Story:
We had had another Sheltie for 13 years who developed cancer, and after a long battle with it, we finally sent her on over the bridge. I wanted time to heal, so about 8 months later, after We'd had time to grieve, I started looking on-line for breeders in my area. I wasn't sure if I wanted another sheltie, but then I remembered what I liked so much about the breed to begin with. I located a breeder in Amish country, in mid-Ohio, took a 5 hour drive down to the farm (after getting lost twice!) and picked her up. On the way home that night, we bonded quickly and she's been at my side ever since.
