I am only Human

Locked Away

My family went out for dinner, and left me at the vet's for two or three hours. I don't know, I was too upset to keep track. I hate it when they do that. There was another dog at the vet, I thought he was cute, you know, white and tiny. He turned out to be horribly grumpy. Kept barking and growling at me. Being the gentleman that I am, I just kept quiet. But it was depressing and scary. Not to mention all those huge dogs outside. I have a feeling they hate me. Wonder why.

Thank God I'm home now.

I smell something ...

I have so many pals, and i'm so glad! Maybe being mistaken as a dog wouldn't be that bad after all. Well except for the food part. You know how sometimes your family just won't let you have what they're eating? I hate those times.

Anyway, here's some interesting news. I've noticed a change on my sisters' mood. There's something special going on today. Then I smelled it out, my mum is making something special for dinner! She doesn't do that a lot, but now that she does, I have to make sure I get a piece of it. You know what a boy's got to do to eat don't you?

Actually it's very easy to get something. You see, I have two sisters, they always eat at The Table, the one that has all the dishes on it three times a day. I'm, er, too short to eat at the table. But don't worry, all boys grow! I just have to go to their chair and wait for them to give me what I want. When one of them try to ignore me, i'll jump up so that they can see me. I love life.

But sometimes they tell me something is unhealthy for me. I don't understand, I saw them eating the exact same thing. Oh well.

I would love to hang around, but, seriously, I have a mission here. Mummy always gives me what I want to eat, unless it was one of those "unhealthy" foods, so I'm going get my share of Special Dinner!

Being Quiet.

My sisters are having big exams. I hate it when they do. They stop playing with me and kept looking at opened books. I'm sure I look a lot better than those books, but mummy asked me not to disturb them, so I have to lie down and do nothing. Except breathing. I'll make sure they play with me when their exams are over.

I don't think people get it sometimes, I know I'm short, but I'm actually human. I eat whatever my sisters eat, and sometimes my mum, plus I have a two beds. And teddy bears. I heard babies have those, so why do people still think I'm a dog? Plus, mum and both my sisters call me "boy", some people still call me "doggy" though. That's why I ignore them, unless they give me treats. I'm only human.

But all in all, life is great. I watch the sea everyday. My friends used to visit me every morning at the balcony, they can fly. I wonder why they stopped coming around.

Had a Chicken Wrap in the car today, my aunt bought it for me. I ignored her when she didn't bring treats for me last week. I guess she feels guilty. I do feel a little guilty now that she brought them.
