Bio:
He was 10 months old, very shy, scared, submissive, and nervous. The information I got was that he liked kids, was almost house trained, thought that anything on the floor was a toy and could stay in a laundry room for up to 4 hours. I found that he was all the way house trained if you just took him outside a the proper times. He adored children and men, and he pretty much leaves things alone if he has enough toys to play with. He is a very busy puppy, all the time, playing with toys. Very smart and easily trained. He was afraid of my hands at first but is doing very well now and shows oodles of affection -- loves receiving it as well. Car rids are his favorite.

Dudley's Third Birthday

Happy Birthday to Dudley
He's three years old today.
That little boy is so cuddley
In his special schnauzery way.

Yes, I got him as a rescue
From a shelter at 10 months of age
I chose him out of the other few
My life had started a new page.

A tiny and frightened little boy
Peed on my foot right away
Little did I know how very much joy
He would bring me from then till this day.

And now he's grown to the age of three
And learned a lot in that time
We're buds, you know -- Dudley and me
That precious little boy of mine.

Happy birthday, my sweet little boy,
This day was special from the start.
Lets go and buy you a special new toy
At the store we call Pet Smart.

Allie

This is an note from Dudley's Mom. He wouldn't be able to tell you about this himself because he is too dignified to brag but I will tell it. Today, I wanted to put a note on my mirror so I printed it out then cut the excess paper off. I let it fall to the floor because I know that Dudley likes to tear up paper and I thought that would keep him occupied for a while so I left it there for him. Sure enough, he got it and tore a few pieces off but he brought the biggest piece and lay it on the floor next to me. I knew he was bringing it to me but I didn't pick it up. Well, I keep my printer paper on a low shelf. He can reach it but I've taught him not to touch it and he is very good to leave it alone. Well, after about 20-30 minutes he came and got that paper and was trying to put it on my paper shelf on top of my stack of paper. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!

That's my boy!

Well, Mom insisted that I take the sweater off. She said I got pee on it! Okay! So, I let her wash it and put it right back on as soon as it was dry. Then one day she just took it off me. I don't know why she took it off but I got a hold of it and lay it down on the floor all nice and flat and tried to crawl into the neck of it. Mommy saw me and laughed real hard and put it back on me! (Note from Mom, that wasn't a fluke. He did it again a second time and I thought it was hilarious!)
