It's my birthday!

Can I just say, life is good! Today is my 5th birthday, and in honor of me, people are wearing green and celebrating. There was even a parade today, but I didn't get to go. Mom stopped by 3 Dog Bakery, and brought home a bag of yummy treats. She made us all sit while she sang "happy birthday" and then we each got a little cupcake. She stuck a huge shamrock cookie, some carob chip cookies and some doggie truffles in the fridge (let the treats continue all week!)

AND, another reason to celebrate. Last Tuesday we went to the vet to find out why I was so lethargic and why the hair on my tail was falling out. Dr. Sanford drew some blood (I ran from her when I saw the needle), and called mom later to say that I had very low thyroid "hypothyroid". Mom ran back up to the vet to get some magic pills, and I feel better already! I might even drop some weight. I've been on the green bean diet forever, but I always weigh 100 pounds, no matter what. I'm getting back to my playful happy self. Good timing - I'd hate to feel bad on my birthday.
