Arrival Story:
I really wanted to get a dog and said that if I saw one thata reminded me of my childhood dog Skippy, I would have to adopt him. Well, I searched on many web sites and finally found Buster on Petfind.com. He was a 10 week old puppy at Last Chance Animal Rescue. He actually had been traded for crack somewhere in Delaware, and somehow wound up at the Maryland rescue group. When I found his picture online, I couldn't believe it, but it was the puppy I was looking for - and who was going to be at an adoption event at the Petsmart around the corner from my house the very next day. I e-mailed an application and picked him up 20 hours later.
Bio:
Unfortunately, after a couple of scuffles at the dogpark, Buster and I don't go there to play anymore. We still go to a local school to play fetch, but it usually ends when he decides it's much more fun to lay in the grass and chew on his tennis ball. He still loves to socialize with people - it's the dogs he's not so sure about. He also loves to visit all his girlfriends at the Kentlands Veterinary Hospital because they make such a fuss over him. Other fun pasttimes for Buster include chasing his cat brothers around the house and bringing Lori his stuffed toys when she's not busy so they can play with them.
Hobbies:
Buster loves to sit on the balcony and watch as people and dogs pass by. He also loves to keep Lori company when she works at home. He has his own "desk" in her home office where he "works" next to her. In his free time he likes to watch TV. Animal Planet is his favorite channel, although his favorite show is the Dog Whisperer. He loves to watch, growl at, and bark at any dogs he sees on tv.
