Daddy

My mommy took me to see Daddy this weekend. I was soooooooooo happy. She was packing her bags on friday and I started to get excited because that means "road trip" When ever we travel I get to see all of my friends in Missouri. This time she asked me if I wanted to go see Daddy. I got so excited. I started barking and spinning around. Well she packed my bag and we went and spent the night at grandma and grandpa's house. On saturday we went to Fort Leonard Wood. Mommy left me in the car with Grandma and my human sisters. She told me she was gonna go get Daddy. It seemed like it took forever. I just stared out the window. I finally saw them walking up the sidewalk. Daddy didn't know I was there. When they got close to the car Mommy told him that there was someone in the car that really wanted to see him. Then he saw me. I thought that Daddy was gonna cry..I spent about ten minutes licking his face. I was glad to see him. We had a wonderful weekend. I was so happy, but last night we had to take him back to base..I was so sad all the way home. I hope mom will take me again soon.

Daddy called!!!

I really love my Daddy. He is in the Army Reserves and is away for training right now. Boy do I miss him. We have been together for a long time. Daddy had me for two years before he got Mommy. She is a good Mommy and I love her but I am Daddy's boy and I haven't got to see him since July. Mommy talks to him on the phone all the time and she goes to see him on weekends. I go crazy when she comes home and she smells like my wonderful Daddy.

Yesterday Daddy called and he heard me barking in the background. He asked Mommy to put the phone up to my ear. Oh my gosh, I don't think I have ever been so happy. I barked at the phone and I wagged my tail until mommy thought it was going to fall off.
When I got off the phone I ran around in circles barking.I ran up to my brothers and sister and told them I had talked to Daddy. It was wonderful. Mommy says she is going to take me with her one weekend soon so I can see him too.
