Arrival Story:
Hope's grandma and Grandpa were driving down the road when all the sudden Grandma saw this older lady run over this beautiful black dog, so Grandpa turned around to make for sure she was ok. She wasn't she was stuck underneath the car. Grandma called animal control to come and get her and make her better. Grandma came home and told Mommy all about me (Daddy wasn't very happy about it because he knew that we would now be a 2 doggie family!) So mommy called to find out about the pretty doggie and "ac" said she was ok, but she was going to be put down because she was a "pit." Hope's mommy didn't like that at all, so she sprung into action, and got the local Humane Society involved and they helped mommy save Hope! The vet at the "ac" didn't take very good care of her while they had her so she had a really bad infection, but the nice people at the "HS" did some surgerys on her and showed mommy and daddy how to take care of her wounds. It took 4 months, but she is a wonderful, healthy, energetic (to say the least!), protective little angel!
