Arrival Story:
The person who had Anne before us couldn't sell her and her brother. He was going to kill them. He wasn't feeding them. They had mange and ricketts. We took Anne and our brother-inlaw took her brother. She was almost bald. Her front legs were bowed and she would fall down sometimes when she tried to walk. We didn't need another dog we already had three, but I have never been sorry that we took her in. She makes everyday beautiful. She likes to sleep with her head on my pillow.

Bio:
Things you need to know about Anne...She is like sunshine, she makes everyday brighter. She is a bedhog, she likes to sleep right next to her mamma, when Anne passes gas she always has to sniff her own butt.If she knows there is sour cream she will move heaven and earth to find it. She was supposed to be my husband's dog, but it was evident from the very first day that she was mine. I have to hide her sqeaky toys in a drawer at night or she will drive me crazy, but now she sits and stares at her drawer and if I still won't give her a toy she tries to open it. Her best friend (besides mamma)is her brother my pit Ceasar. They can't play in the house anymore because there is nothing left standing if they do. She is a wonderful puppy and I thank God for her

A day in the life of Anne

A great day with Mommy

Mommy and me had the best morning today. Mommy has been feeling bad about us not having enough fun time together. On the weekends she goes to see Daddy at Fort Leonard Wood. She leaves us at home with our human brother Mikey. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Mikey , but he isn't Mommy.
On monday Mommy had a migraine and spent the day in bed, bad for her, but good for me and Taz . We spent the whole day in bed cuddled up with Mommy.
Today we went for a walk. Just Mommy and me. We live in town and there is a leash law so if I am outside I have to be on a tie out. Mommy and Daddy are going to fence the yard in next summer. I spend a lot of time inside. There is really no place in town for us to walk and Mommy has been looking for a good place for us to walk. Well she found it.

Just a few miles out of town there is a wonderful conservation area. We drove out there this morning. The minute I got out of the car I was in heaven. Oh the smells I could smell. I picked right up on one and took mommy on quite a walk. She was really excited when we got down to the river and she saw that I was following racoon tracks. We followed them down the river for quite a ways, but mommy made me go back.
I protected her from a stick that looked a lot like a snake . I wasn't gonna let it get her. I played in the water and I had so much fun. I pouted just a little bit when she made me go home, but I made it up to her when we got home. I jumped up and hugged her and then got a toy and we played until I got tired.
It was a great day. She promised to take me again tomorrow.

Mommy isn't as smart as she thinks

My mommy thought that she was really smart. She puts my squeeky toys in her dresser drawer beside her bed at night so I don't drive her crazy. She knew that I had been trying to get that silly drawer open, but she didn't think I could do it. Well she was wrong. Last night while mommy was trying to go to sleep I got it open. HA!HA!HA! She didn't even get mad. She thinks I'm a really smart puppy.

This morning she got some toys out for me and Taz. She left the drawer open a little bit. Well I really don't like to share toys with him .I took one and put it back in the drawer. Then I played with the other one. Taz can't reach the drawer. .
