 Birthday: January 25th 2002
Likes: Cookies and naps.(during which she makes this noise of contentment, she sighs out of her lips loudly, I can't describe the sound. It's almost like the noise a horse makes when he makes his lips sputter.

Pet-Peeves: Life is good when nothing bothers you!

Favorite Toy: Her red Kong.

Favorite Food: Anything that isn't bolted down, and even then...

Favorite Walk: Anyplace that has some new smells to check out.

Best Tricks: I only knew how to sit, but my new mom just taught me to give paw and to lay down. She said that I'll be easy to train because I'm so food motivated. I don't know what that means, but whatever it is, I get cookies.

Arrival Story: I came to live with my new family about a month ago. My new mom had been thinking about getting a second dog for a long time, but she was waiting until the right one, and then she saw the ad that my first mom put on the website whose initials are CL for our area and gave her a call. My first family had me since I was a little itty bitty puppy, and they were awesome, but they were moving and just couldn't keep me or my brother anymore. My new mom said when she read the ad she just knew it was meant to be. It said that I was sweet 5 year old girl who was missing one eye from a puppyhood accident . My doggie mom stepped on me when I was born, she didn't mean to, but I lost my eye. But it has never slowed me down or made a bit of difference to me. But my new mom knew that because of my age and my eye that I might have a harder time than my brother finding a new home, and since her human son has disabilities, she knew it only made me special and that he would understand me. So my new mom brought her son and their other dog and drove out to meet me and it was love at first sight. I lived with a girl the same age as her son so she knew I was good with kids. I miss my first family, I love them very much and they gave me a great home for 5 wonderful years, but I knew they felt they had to find me a new home and I know they wanted me to go to another great home. So far it's going perfectly, I fit in here so well, and I love my new family.

Bio: My new mom told my old mom that she was worried I was depressed and that I was sleeping a lot, but she let her know that I have always been like that, and that the reason they got another dog was so I could have a playmate. He was a nice chocolate lab, a HUGE, nice chocolate lab, but he was pretty insane, and he ended up bothering me a lot. To tell you the truth I'm a little relieved about getting away from him. I get along much better with the other dog that's here, we both are very laid back and calm, and like nothing more than to lay on the couch together and take naps, as long as we can see one of the family.

THIS WAS COPIED AND PASTED FROM CHOOY'S PAGE.
Well, Mom thought she had a good idea when she attached my leash to Ruby's. My selective hearing is not as bad as her's and I almost always come when she calls, and since Ruby is new, Mom gets nervous -she doesn't trust that she'll come back. So she lets us run around in the field at the park we go to like this. It seemed to be working really well, I would bring Ruby back to her and when I didn't feel like exercising anymore Ruby would keep me going. But today, I don't know which one of us decided it was a good idea but we bolted into the woods at the edge of the park while we were attached to each other. Turns out it wasn't such a good idea. We got tangled up in a tree, and I started crying so Mom could find us. I think she was relieved when she saw us, but not so happy when she had to figure out how to get to us. There was a tiny little stream, but enough for her shoes to be completely underwater, and there were tons of vines, branches, and thorns, all the branches had grown horizontally. I think she would have been ok with a machete, but instead she kind of got tangled up herself. I panicked a little when she had to go a different way and I didn't see her anymore, but good ol' Mom didn't leave us stranded, and finally got to us where she unclipped us and was a little scared to discover that not only were our leashes tangled, but one of the vines was around my neck. Of course we took off for a quick run of relief, as Mom sat on a fallen tree to rest her big butt and catch her breath. She's not in the best of shape, but I bet if we did that everyday she'd lose a lot of weight. You should have seen how steep it was from where she was to where we were, I think I even heard her saying a few words she doesn't say in front of our human brother. Ruby and I were beat after that adventure, but boy was it an adventure! We all took a nap.
