When mommy got up this morning, she noticed I wouldn't sit or lay down. Whenever I tried, I'd just jump right back up. I also wouldn't climb the stairs or jump up on the bed. Mommy knew something must be wrong. All I would do is pace and pant and my eye was REALLY red! So......I got to go for a car ride (mommy helped me get into the car) & we went to that place that smells kinda funny & they make me get on the scale (I weighed 60 lbs). I was okay until they took me into the little room & the girl whipped out the stick that they put you-know-where! Well, Dr. Jen came in & started pulling on my legs & pressing on my back. Then she put a light up to my eye & I started bobbing my head all over the place. Come to find out, I played WAAAAY too hard in the yard on Sunday (I was supposed to be helping mommy) and pulled a muscle in my back. I figured it happened when I was watching the Olympics! Dr. Jen said my eye looked bruised & I must have poked it on a tree limb. After they were finished torturing me, I got some treats & pills. Mommy gave me one of the pills after we got home. YEEHAW!! Did that ever make me feel funny & drowsy! I was sleeping so hard, the tip of my little tongue was sticking out of my mouth. Now that's some serious "log sawing"!! I sure hope none of my boyfriends are reading this! BOL!! How un-ladylike!!! Guess those pills did the trick cuz I'm back to my silly little self again!!
It finally happened! I got to actually meet a Dogster friend for the very first time! Emma came to my house and we got to have a play date (mommy posted pics of us). She brought me a new stuffy that looks like a big piece of bubblegum & some yummy cookies!
Emma is sooo sweet & gentle. I liked her alot! We played in the backyard and in my pool. This was Emma's first time in a pool, so she was a little cautious at first. I think she liked it because she ended up getting in it on her own without coaxing. It sure was a fun day. I hope she had as great a time as I did.
How often do you actually get to meet a friend from Dogster? I feel so lucky. Wish I could meet all of you!
Today was the most fun I have ever had. Me & all of my siblings (except 1) got together at the dog park for our 1 year birthday reunion! I got to run & play with my 5 brothers! We all look alike (except I'm smaller cuz I'm a girl) and when our mommies were comparing notes...come to find out, we all have the same likes/dislikes! When my brothers would wrestle with each other, I'd just stand and look at them. I don't understand that rough & tumble stuff. One of the dads threw a ball & we all chased after it. I ran sooooo fast!! One of the mommies said I looked like a gazelle (whatever THAT is! BOL!). I think I ran faster than the boys because I'm more "streamlined" than they are. They all weigh between 75-80 lbs. & I only weigh 57 lbs. Sounds like mommy needs to give me more treats! Whenever I would have the ball, my brothers didn't try to take it away, they'd just look at me. If one of them had it...the boys would try to take it from him. They were probably polite with me cuz I'm a little girl (boy! did I have them fooled!). We had a whole section to ourselves at the dog park. Some lady came in with a white Standard Poodle & we all stopped what we were doing & stared at him. We have never seen such a hairdo!! I had to walk up to him to get a closer look. Maybe mommy can give me a perm like that dude had!!
I fell asleep on the way home & was very "reserved" the rest of the night. Mommy didn't have to entertain me last night, that's for sure! I was sawing some serious logs....I can't wait 'til I can get together with them again!
