My dear sweet Sadie,
This is the first Christmas without you in 14 years. My heart is breaking again. As I write this the tears are flowing, and apparently Tia has noticed as she has awakened from a deep sleep to give me kisses (unless you had something to do with that)! It's times like these that bring the pain all back again. I still can't believe you're gone. Your Christmas stocking is out next to a photo of you. You will forever be a part of us. Knowing that you and Jake are together gives me comfort. Enjoy your Christmas with the angels, and, if you can, join us on Christmas morning in your own special way.
