Likes:
To be near mom. I'm never more than a few feet away from her if I can help it.

Pet-Peeves:
When my human brother tries to ride me like a horse. It can be pretty annoying sometimes, but I know he's just a kid, and if it bothers me a lot that day, I just get away from him and give my Mom the "please save me!" look.

Favorite Toy:
The cat.

Favorite Food:
Canned chunky dog food. I get it once in a while mixed with my dry food, since it makes me poop kinda funny.

Favorite Walk:
The park near our house.

Best Tricks:
My latest one is "sit pretty". I balance on my butt with both paws in front of me. I guess it's just a cute way to beg, but Mom says it's the cutest thing ever and hey, she's the one in charge of the cookies so who am I to argue?

Arrival Story:
I used to belong to these goofy hippie kids that were camping out in the woods near my Mommy's friend's house in New Hampshire, and all of a sudden they decided they didn't want me anymore. They had a black lab who had just had puppies, and they also kept one of the puppies. But for some reason, which I still don't know, they didn't want me anymore. ( They called me Timmy, but I thought that was just a weird name for a dog, plus everyone always said it the same way -like the guy from South Park.) I guess Mom had told her friend a couple months back that she wanted to get a dog, but at the time she wasn't actively looking. She knew the right dog would find her. And I did! It's been about a year that I've been with her and personally I'm glad I got rid of those flaky hippie kids. ( who by the way were in the circus)

Bio:
Those kids adopted me from a pound in Kansas City, Missouri, only I know how I got there. I had a Petfinder tag from there. She looked me up and saw that I was listed as a Cocker Spaniel mix. She was never sure about what breed I am, the only thing that she says makes sense is that I'm a Cocker/Lab mix, but every picture we've seen of this mix looks nothing like me. I know I'm definitely some sort of Spaniel, so one day she was looking up different Spaniels online, and came across a dog called a Field Spaniel. I swear I heard her say " Eureka!! ", but she's never been 100% sure. The pictures did look a lot like me, and the temperment they described sounds like me too, but neither one of us is positive. What do you guys think? All I know is that it doesn't make a difference, my momma loves me no matter what.

What a day...

Well, Mom thought she had a good idea when she attached my leash to Ruby's. My selective hearing is not as bad as her's and I almost always come when she calls, and since Ruby is new, Mom gets nervous -she doesn't trust that she'll come back. So she lets us run around in the field at the park we go to like this. It seemed to be working really well, I would bring Ruby back to her and when I didn't feel like exercising anymore Ruby would keep me going. But today, I don't know which one of us decided it was a good idea but we bolted into the woods at the edge of the park while we were attached to each other. Turns out it wasn't such a good idea. We got tangled up in a tree, and I started crying so Mom could find us. I think she was relieved when she saw us, but not so happy when she had to figure out how to get to us. There was a tiny little stream, but enough for her shoes to be completely underwater, and there were tons of vines, branches, and thorns, all the branches had grown horizontally. I think she would have been ok with a machete, but instead she kind of got tangled up herself. I panicked a little when she had to go a different way and I didn't see her anymore, but good ol' Mom didn't leave us stranded, and finally got to us where she unclipped us and was a little scared to discover that not only were our leashes tangled, but one of the vines was around my neck. Of course we took off for a quick run of relief, as Mom sat on a fallen tree to rest her big butt and catch her breath. She's not in the best of shape, but I bet if we did that everyday she'd lose a lot of weight. You should have seen how steep it was from where she was to where we were, I think I even heard her saying a few words she doesn't say in front of our human brother. Ruby and I were beat after that adventure, but boy was it an adventure! We all took a nap.

Well, this is really very cool. I like this Dogster thing. It's a good thing Mommy knows how to use a computer (sort of) because I think I'm really gonna like this site. I just like sitting at her feet while she's on the computer. I think I heard her tell my human brother that we might be going to the park in a little while. I love that place. I think I'll take a little nap and dream about the ducks until it's time to go. Quack quack, ahhhhhh.
