Arrival Story:
Its been almost a year since we lost Shasta......and poor Domino was a little lonely in this cat dominated house.........i have a friend who volunteers at the SPCA.....although I wasnt REALLY shopping for a new dog, she was keeping her eyes open IF a purebred retreiver came through... Recently, there was a big story on the local news of a "dog hoarder" who was arrested and all dogs confiscated. In the mix were 3 Golden moms with litters. Several pups died as they were in deplorable conditions and seperated from their moms... long story short, I miraculously got one of the female pups, thanks to my friend snagging her & calling me on a busy saturday at the SPCA...... and Mango came home to Domino! He loves her, though he is a "grandpa"....i can tell he enjoyd her!
