dixie, you are such a good dog. probably the best behaved one I have ever had. Not the smartest but that is not meant in a bad way at all. that is part of your charm. you are very athletic and love to swim. just like me.If i didn't know better I would say you inherited that from me.You entered my family at a low point, mac loved you and you were his shadow. I will have those memories forever. I loved watching you learn from him and now I see so much of him in you. I have to thankyou for filling that void and having his memory live on through you. I am very thankful for that and for you. you keep me smiling all the time. you have the cutest face!!!!!!!!!!!!!You do the weirdest things at times and I just have to laugh.sometimes I don't get it but I guess I am not meant to.I am thankful that you entered are lives and are a part of our family. I am looking foward to many more years together. that makes my heart smile. sixie I love you . mom

dixie's favorite day

hi all, a perfect day for me starts off with mom letting me sleep in. i am not like most dogs i'd prefer to get up after the sun has been out. my brother and sister are the same way.then i take my first stretch of the day and out the back door. i might chase a squirrel or two but i definetly are making sure there are no cats in my back yard. i come in chase my brother around , grab a bone and i am ready for mom to go to work and take a nap. on a good day she comes in and takes us to the lake for a run and a swim, or the dog park where i chase anyone who is running. i come home have dinner, grab all the love I can get from my people. watch tv and wait to hear my favorite saying"let's go to bed. sometimes i wait for everyone to sleep and i start playing with all my toys. at that hour I don't have to share. i might stroll in bed about 2 am and dream about my next day. bye all
