My "Wedding" portrait

Ok, I finally convinced Mommy to post my charming picture with my Ashley girl before she left for the church to get married. I wasn't invited to go along, so I stayed home and enjoyed some down time with my kitty brothers.

My Birthday

Hi everyone,
Long time, no see!! My Mommy has been so busy working and taking care of things that she hasn't let me type a diary entry for a VERY LONG TIME!! I am not happy about that, but without her help, there's not much I can do. Anyway, today is my 14th Birthday!! Where have the years gone??!! I'm still in really great shape for my age. A little slower, but so is Mommy and Daddy--at least we're all growing old together!!! We celebrated last night with some roast beef, a puppy cupcake, some new pull toys and a big box of Buddy Bisquits! My Ashley girl bought me a huge dog bisquit that was decorated and had "GOOD BOY" on it. I have to have Mommy post my picture posing with my Ashley girl on her wedding day!! They didn't ask me to pose, I just walked over and had my picture taken and I must say, I looked so handsome with the "dressed-up people". This morning, Mommy sang Happy Birthday to me and gave me 14 special kisses on top of my head. Sometimes I think she's a little strange, but hey I enjoy the spoiling and pampering!! She posted a picture of me from my little celebration that you'll probably enjoy looking at. I really wanted to dive into that cupcake, but NOOOOOOO, I had to wait and pose for my Birthday picture first!! Gotta love my Mommy--she sure takes care of the Oscie boy!!
I sure hope she doesn't let this much time pass before she lets me add to my diary again. I have to go see if Mommy will post the wedding picture with me in it. Look for that one soon!!

Great birthday snacks!!

Hi everyone!!!!

Well, I got some really special snacks for my birthday!!! Mommy came home from work with a bag from "Muddy Paws". I always recognize that bag, because it's white with little paw prints all over it. I know she doesn't buy anything for the "humans" in my family from there, so I knew whatever was inside was for this special puppy.
Mommy bought me 2 pup pizzas & a big "Steeler" puppy cookie. I was so happy!!! She left me eat one of the little pizzas & part of the cookie. So yummy!!!! I'll probably get the rest tonight--can't wait!!!!!

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everybody!!!

Oscie boy is making a return. Mommy has been so busy for so long that she wouldn't let me type in my diary, but yesterday I got birthday greetings from my special friends at Dogster and Mommy said we really need to make the time to get involved in this again. Yeah~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, I turned 12 years old yesterday and Mommy made me some meatballs with a little sauce on them. They were great!!!!!!!!!!!! She's supposed to bring me home a special surprise today from my favorite place to shop, "Muddy Paws". I can't wait to see what it is-they have such gourmet treats that I've never had one I didn't like. So, whatever I get, I know I'm gonna like it. She also wants to put up a new picture of me because the older I get, the more handsome I get!! At least that's what she tells me!!!
There were fireworks in town last night following a weekend festival and Mommy and Daddy couldn't find me to take me in the house. They were running around yelling and yelling. I was hiding under the neighbor's porch!!!! Looked like a safe place away from the boomers. When I crawled out, Mommy had to wipe off my face because it was covered with cobwebs. I was really scared, so we stayed in the house and Mommy gave me lots of love until I got myself calmed down.

Lazy Oscie!!

I know, I know, I've been a very lazy puppy lately. I haven't posted anything in my diary for such a long time I'm gonna have to exercise my paw-fingers just to get back into the typing groove!! There just hasn't been that much excitement going on around here. The weather has been nasty which makes me just want to lay around and do nothing but sleep! But today, it's going up to the 60's and was so warm when we got up this morning that Mommy opened up some of the windows in the house to let in the fresh air. That's always a good sign!! It's supposed to start getting cold tomorrow, but I'll take this nice weather even if it's for one day!!
I, who you know never gets into trouble (yeah, right!!), went on a little stroll the other day and when Daddy opened the door to let me in, he was telling me what a good boy I was for staying by the porch. Then he looked at me and saw I was hiding something in my mouth. I wasn't giving it to him, no how, now way!! I had my jaws clamped tight like a vise and Daddy was trying to pry them open, but I wouldn't budge. Daddy had to cover my nose which made me open my mouth so I could breath and he took away my hidden treasure!! A whole chicken breast!! He threw it in the garbage and wouldn't even let me have one single bite!! It looked like a good one too. You'd think I'd learn my lesson that I'm not supposed to dig through other people's garbage for food but I can't help myself.
My Ashley girl bought me a huge and I do mean huge box of dog bisquits the other day and Mommy put some into a big plastic container so we could keep them in the kitchen and she was going to take the big box down to the basement because she didn't have anywhere to store it upstairs. Well, I got caught sneaking them out of the box because every time Mommy or Daddy were walking through the living room they saw me chewing on a new, fresh bisquit. Mommy put an end to that little adventure when she put the box down into a big garbage bag and tied the top closed. She told me that it was not a "serve yourself puppy buffet". Hey, they were there, I had access to them, what can I say, I like to eat!!
I think I'll go get rested up a little. Maybe if the weather stays this nice I'll get to go for a walk tonight. I sure hope so because I sure do love the nice weather and there's nothing better that a puppy walk.

Oscar is freezing!!!

I don't know about where you live, but it was only 4 degrees when Oscie went outside this morning. I don't know how much of this cold I can take. February has been such a nasty month! We're supposed to get a snow storm tonight and into tomorrow and I'm tired of it. I want Spring to be here!!!
Oh well, guess I can't control the weather, so I better keep my puppy mouth shut and be thankful that I have a nice warm, cozy house to live in. Early this morning, I crawled in between Mommy and Daddy in bed and wouldn't move. Mommy woke up and was giving me puppy love and I kept laying my head on Daddy's back till he woke up. He told me to move over, but there was no way I was going anywhere, I was just a little too comfy at that point. But the alarm went off and we had to get up.
Now I'm just hanging out with the kitty boys waiting for Daddy to get home at 4 and Mommy at 5. I heard a rumor that there might be pizza served tonight, and as you well know, that is Oscie's favorite thing in the whole world to eat.
Daddy's birthday is tomorrow, so I'm pretty sure there's going to be cake for the puppy to share! Looks like a good weekend for eating!!

Oscar is so far behind!!

I don't know if it's laziness, or just neglect on my part, but I haven't posted any diary entries for awhile. Gotta try harder to keep up!
I'm gonna go crazy if this weather doesn't soon warm up! It is still so cold outside. Mommy and Daddy are going a little stir crazy too sitting in the house every night. We all need to get out for a nice refreshing walk (preferably in the warm sun)!! Well, at least when they're in the house it seems like I'm getting lots and lots of attention and puppy love. Daddy told Mommy last night that she gives me and my kitty brothers more hugs and kisses than he gets in a week. I don't consider that a problem at all. Oscie deserves the love and attention!! Daddy's just jealous because Mommy spoils me so much. She brought me home two paw-print cookies yesterday. Yep, Muddy Paws now has their wonderful assortment of Easter and St. Patrick's Day cookies. Mommy would only give me one last night. It was so good I don't even think I chewed it!! I guess I'll probably get the other one tonight. At least I hope so!!!

Oscie is a very happy puppy!!

Oh boy, guess what!!! Oscie got a very special Valentine treat from Mommy. I got a bag of my favorite Eagle Pack bisquits and best of all a special puppy cookie. It's actually a bisquit in the shape of a big heart with red, pink and white icing drizzled on it. It came in a pretty Valentine bag tied with a little ribbon with paw prints on it. Mommy only gave me 1/2 of it, so I can't wait till tonight to finish it off!!! Mommy said I'm her very special Valentine puppy and was giving me puppy love all morning. I guess I am a special boy!!

Mommy and Daddy are going out to eat tonight, so I guess I'll just be hanging out with the kitty boys till they get back home. It's a buffet, so I know they won't be bringing home any left overs for me. Oh well, maybe the next time.

Nasty, nasty weather!!

What is up with this weather??!! It is really crappy outside again. All of the schools cancelled classes today because of the snow and the cold. Wish Mommy and Daddy's work was cancelled too!! I love when they're home with the Oscie puppy. We could be cuddled up all day, keeping warm and cozy, just lounging around.

I'm really getting excited about Valentine's Day. I just know I'm going to get something special from Mommy. Hope it's one of those nice heart shaped puppy cookies that they have at Muddy Paws. I heard Mommy telling Daddy that they've sold out of them 3 times already. Hope there's some left for me!!

My little kitty brother kept us up last night playing with his chirping bird. He's such a rotten boy. Night time means sleep time, not play with your toys time!!! He had it downstairs, and I could still hear it chirping up in the bedroom. I'm gonna get ahold of that little bird and hide it!!!

It's so cold outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, this weekend sure turned out to be bitter cold. Yesterday the wind was blowing so hard I could hardly walk down the sidewalk. This morning when we got up it was only 5 degrees. That's just a little too cold for the Oscie boy!! I sure wish Spring would get here. I'm so bored being stuck in the house to keep warm. I need to get out in the sunshine and play!!
Mommy went for groceries on Saturday and told me she was going to bring me a special puppy surprise. I was so excited when she got home I couldn't stand the suspense!! I kept barking at her, because Oscie doesn't forget anything, and I knew she had something just for me. I got two nice big chew bones. Oh boy, I chowed down on those!!! Mommy always brings me home something cause she says I'm her little angel puppy!! She also says the "angel" part is sometimes questionable considering yesterday morning I showed up at the back door with something hanging out of my mouth and Mommy wouldn't let me bring it in!!!!! She came out with a bag and tried to take it off of me, but I wasn't giving it up, no how, no way!! I layed on the porch and ate it. Mommy thinks it was a piece of meatloaf, but I wouldn't let her get a good look at it. Then she tells me that I better not get sick from eating garbage. I am an expert at picking the good stuff out of the neighbor's garbage!! It didn't make me sick at all!
