Today it is snowing again. We have so much snow on the groud dad is running out of places to pile it. The snow is over my shoulders now, so I pretty much have to stay on the beaten paths. Dad says that it is funny to watch me playing in the deep snow. maybe Santa will bring Dad a video camera. I actually sank over my head in the snow when I went to see our nice neighbour. It was a cold week here too. Dad had to put my boots on me Saturday morning for our walk cause it was -27 C. He let me out for a quick pee when we first got up, but I was doing the three-legged walk very fast, so he said that he wanted to make sure I did not freeze my feet so I have to wear the boots. Dad says it will take a few times of putting them on for me to get used to it cause I don't like them. BOL! Dad hopes to get a picture of me wearing my boots for the site. Holiday preparations continue around here. There is this large green tree in the living room with things hanging on it. Mom says I have to be careful of my tail around the tree cause I wag it so much.
We had our first big snow on Sunday night here in Petawawa. Close to 30 cm (14 in) or so. Dad and I spent alot of time shoveling. Well, he shoveled and I either chased the snow he threw or I laid in the snow and watched. BOL! The snow is as deep as my legs, so Dad and Mom even cleaned an are so I could relieve myself easier. Plus it is easier for them to clen up cause it is in one area. The neighbour came over with his snow blower later in the day and made the area bigger for me. He is a nice neighbour.
Dad and I only did our neighbourhood walks the last few days, but today he took me to the big park. At last! The snow was packed down on a couple of trails, but we did break a few of the other ones. Dad took a few pictures and put them on my site. It was almost dark so he says on Saturday we will get better ones. He said he just wanted you to see me in the deep snow.
Mom and Dad continue to prepare for the Christmas season. Not sure what that is but I overheard them saying they had to get a stocking (?) and put some goodies in it for me. That sounds great but alas, I guess I must wait for what the humans call the Big Day! Woof!
We had our first snow fall this week here in Petawawa. About 6 cm (4 inches) fell on Thursday. This was my first snow with this family. It was great. I went out and ran around and played. Dad says we will get much more snow this winter and that was just a light dusting. He says there will be days where it will be up to my belly or deeper. I can't wait. Woof! I helped dad shovel the driveway on Thursday when he got home from work.
Dad took me to the park today. Twice actually. We had a short walk this morning and Mom came out for the big walk this afternoon. Dad took a few pictures of me today and he put two snow pictures on my site.
