Arrival Story:
I saw Lucy walking up the side of the highway on my way home from work one evening. Her birthday is unkown.The date I gave for her birthday is actually the day I took her to the vet. She was very sick and very skinny. She had a variety of things wrong with her and it took many trips and a lot of medication to get her well. She had broken teeth and a burn on her ear where the hair never regrew. I tried to find a home for her because she just did not want to get along with any of my other dogs or cats but she eventually settled in but still sometimes gives the cats a hard time.
