As of today, my four day hold period as a stray is up at the shelter... so now I wait for a fur-ever home to claim me.
I am microchipped but the shelter contacted the person who had me, and they told the shelter that they gave me away to someone else and they don't know who it was. I am a sweet boy who just wants a home that will take the time to keep me safe.
I am not out on the main adoption floor yet since they have no space. But they say they won't euthanize me and will call rescue as a last resort. They said that since I seem to have a nice personality, I should be adopted from the shelter in no time. I just hope that this time it is a home that will take the time to understand me and love me forever.
Here are some basic things about me that the lady at TOTTSHR learned from one night with me:
#1. I ride VERY well in a car.
#2. I am a young boy who is no more than about 1 1/2 years old.
#3. I seem to know basic commands such as sit and paw.
#4. I LOVE to play with other dogs and can come off a bit strong. So other pups may need to be patient with me.
#5. I was very good for the bath.. I shook a lot, but what dog doesn't shake?
#6. I seemed to be housebroken, but any dog you should take time with in a new home. Here are some good steps to make sure I don't have any problems with a transition.
#7. I went into a crate very nicely and didn't make too much of a stir.
Please consider giving me a chance! Contact the shelter to learn more about me today:
