Arrival Story:
I was going through a devasting divorce the year I turned 40. It would have also been my 20th wedding anniversary. My kids gave Pepper to me for Mother's Day and he would dry my tears every night. That's how he became so sensitive, but he still has lots of playfullness inside!

A Day in the Life

Pepper is a typical Yorkie. Bouncy, energetic, playful...like a wind up toy that never stops. We call him the "asthma puppy" because he sneezes and wheezes and wallows around like he is itching but he always wants to snuggle up to you when he knows you are sad or sick and look after you. He has to be touching you and will dry your tears if you cry. He is the life force of our home, tending to the other puppies like he's the mama. What did we ever do without him? I can't remember life pre-Pepper.
