Arrival Story:
I was found wandering by the side of the road by a nice lady who didn't want to take me to the shelter. She took me to our groomer's, and they tried and tried to find my people. No one claimed me, so Mama Patti took me home with her. I kept fighting with her dog, Bandit, so she gave me to my Mom and Dad at my forever home.

Bio:
I'm the most spoiled little girl in the universe! I have a huge wardrobe, and lots and lots of toys. Mom takes me to visit patients at Hospice, so I have lots of people to love me. I think I'm the toughest girl at the dog park, even though I only weigh 11 pounds!

Work is BAD!

My Mom has a new job. I hate it!! She used to be home with me all day, and went to work at night. Daddy was home at night, so even though I waited for Mom, he was there to keep me company.
Now Mom has a new job, PLUS she is still working at the old one some days. Now she gets up in the morning and we can only play for a little while, then she gets dressed and goes to 'work'. I don't know where 'work' is, but she puts on her nice shoes, and that means dogs can't go. Later, she comes home for a minute, and then goes to her other 'work'. I can't sleep late anymore! Now I have to go and get in my Jammie bed, and pout and pout so that she knows that I'm mad at her.
We used to spend all day together playing and snuggling, and now I hardly see her at all. Dad told her I'm very sad all the time. As soon as she gets home I follow her everywhere, and make my Wookie noises until she picks me up.
Tonight she went to dinner with our friend Miss Kathryn while Daddy and Little Brother Rob watched football. I was very sad because she was leaving again, but guess what? They went to a nice place that lets dogs go, too! Mom put my shirt on, and we took my roll up mat to sit on, and my matching water bowl that folds up, and my duck to play with. Then we got in Miss Kathryn's car and went to dinner!!
I like dinner out! Mom let me sit in her lap and fed me cheese, and then I went to sleep while she and Miss Kathryn talked. I still don't like 'work', but I like girl's night!

My Mom is mean!

My Mom is so mean to me! We were just riding in the car the other day, doing our errands and visiting people, and she asked me if I wanted to go and see Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim is our vet, and I love to go see her and all the nice techs! I was very happy, and we went to Dr. Kim's office and I brought my new pink toy for everyone to see and play with.

Everything was fine until my Mom told Dr. Kim that I had a big mole on my leg. I know what moles are...they live in the yard sometimes, and they smell good! I didn't smell one on my leg, but sometimes my Mom is crazy. Well, Dr Kim looked at my leg, and then she gave me a really owie shot!! I didn't cry, but I shook really hard. Mom held me and kissed me, but I was mad at her and wouldn't look at her.

Then I didn't feel anything on my leg, but Dr. Kim and Mom talked about 'cutting out' the mole and sending it to a place called 'biopsy'. Then they talked about stitches. I don't care about stitches, because I don't know what those are, but I sure know what "no playing" is!! Mom and Dr. Kim said "NO PLAYING!!" Are they crazy? Now Mom and Dad won't play with my toys with me, and I hear Mom call my boyfriend Harley's Mom and tell her that I couldn't play with Harley until next week!!

I'm sure mad at my Mom and Dr. Kim right now. And I don't think I like moles, either!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Last weekend was my birthday! Boy, I love it when it's all about me! Mom and Dad had a big party for me at the park. Mom made doggie birthday cake with chicken and rice and carrots and cream cheese and yogurt icing. It even said "Happy Birthday Princess Jackie" on it in pink! (Actually, there were two cakes, because I have a lot of dog friends, and we all like to eat.)
Daddy made food for the humans, and red things called Bloody Marys. That sounded scary, but the humans liked them. They had cake too, but it only had carrots in it.
About 30 people and 17 dogs came for my birthday, and guess what? They all brought presents!! I love presents!! Mom says she won't have to buy me any toys for a year!?!? What is that woman talking about?
My Uncle Dave and Aunt Bren and the kids got me a basketball! It's my favorite toy ever! Mom and Dad won't let me have it all the time because I bark at it really loud, and then my big brother Remy howls. Mom says I'm going to have a heart attack, so she only lets me play with it for about five minutes at a time. Hmmmpf! She's mean!
Mom says that you have a birthday every year. I think I like that!
