Arrival Story:
Blackie was born in our home. As a puppy he would standup in the pen and watch me. When it came time for him to leave with new family he would hide or sat on my feet. I would say Blackie pick me.

Bio:
Blackie is a big BABY. Blackie has to be where he can see me at all times. HE EVEN WANT IN THE bath room with me. Blackie will sit with his dad but if I move he is there. Blackie started having seizures in Jan of 09. That first weekend he had over 75 in 4 days . We had him at the Vet and had started Blackie on meds but we where worried that we may lost him he was so sick. But Blackie got better. But he started having them again bad. WE got him back to the Vet but, Blackie was having so many and had brain damage. We just could not have him suffer. That was a hard thing to do but. I had was with him and loving him at the time of his passing. We now know that Blackie is free and in no pain. Blackie was my shadow and he would tell me when my blood sugar was to high. We all miss Blackie

If it is not one thing it is another in these house. First Mom have computer problem, then the TWINS are in to everything. Now Mom is having to go the the heart DR. I'm watching over her til she can get there on Wed. She is just not feeling good and with her family history of heart problems I just stay near Mom and make sure she knows I'm there.

I want to thank everyone that has pmail and gave me rosettes this week. They have helped Mom and Dad so much. I know that it will take time for the family to settle back down after this. I'm watching over them.

When I got to the Bridge I was meet by member of my family. Thumper was the first one, then Buddy and Baby Rebel. Rascal, Tiger and Mouse where also there. After a quiet word the party started. I know that I can never recall all the ones that I have greeted here , but we all have one thing that we love to talk about an that is our families.
Will I have to run there is a ball game starting I want to try my paw at that. Til later

I have crossed. It was hard on Mom. But I started having my seizures again. But this time they where harder and closer in time. Mom called the Vet and carried me to see her. I had permanent brain damage. Mom could not see me like that in pain. Vet said that even changing and adding meds would not have helped..

Please pray for my family at this time.
