.... FOR THE BIRDS!

So today my mom took me and Bristol, along with my kid, to some lake. Can I tell you how I love riding in the car! Sooo much fun, I usually like to take a nap. But for some reason Bristol kept whining. In fact she just doesn't like to sit still. She even stepped on me...and I wasn't even sitting with her. So my mom stopped the car and we all got out. WOW! We started walking, so many smells, my nose just couldn't stop! Then I saw it. Sitting there. Not doing a whole lot. Wait, there's another one. And another one. Just there, out in the open. My body is stiff, I'm not sure what to do. Is that water their sitting on. How close can I get? Hey Bristol, do you see what I see? Wait, don't move....stop, don't even move your tail! Ready, set......ARROOOOOOOOO!!!!! Whoa...look at them go! Hey, come back, you're too high! What mom? Your arm what? Oh, she looks a little upset. Hmm...maybe Bristol and I should try not pulling at the same time next time, mom looks like she almost fell over into the water. Well, that was great! Let's go walk a little bit more!

I LOVE IT HERE!

So life is great! I have a girlfriend to play with all the time, I have kids that love to give me love and I have a mom and dad that have a real big bed! Mom brings me to pick up the kids at school. I love it! I get to ride in the car and then go out on this big area where kids come running out of a building. They all come and see me! Also, I have this big back yard that I can go out in anytime I want to. It's great! My girlfriend, Bristol, and I run around the yard and play tug-a-war together! Today I got to kill a stuff animal frog! Well, that was until mom took it away cuz I had white stuff hanging out of my mouth...and all over the floor. But it was a blast! I've also noticed, I need to keep an eye on my girlfriend. She stole my bone today. I told her I wanted it back, but she kept running and running. Is that what they call "playing hard to get"? Well, I never got it back. Maybe I'll take some pointers from her and bury my stuff in the laundry. Well, gonna go back to the window and stare out waiting for the time to pass to go get my kid! Oh wait, Bristol's back, better yet I'll just play with her until it's time to get my kid! Keep tails wagging for more updates!

I'm home!

They came back! It's them! What, a new collar! I love it! I'm going with you! I have to say bye to my foster mom. I'll miss you, I promise not to forget you! Here we go. I love to ride in the car! I'm so excited! I think I better take a nap before I get to my new home. Maybe I'll just lay my head on this little human's lap....oh, this other little human is scratching....my....back....zz
zzzzz.....zzzzz.....zzzzz. Huh, I'm awake...what, time to get out already. Wow, look at all these kids that live around here! Kisses all around! kiss kiss kiss kiss.....what's that I hear? OH WOW, IT'S YOU! Bristol, I thought I'd never see you again! Let's go play.....and play....and play.....and play a bit more! Love this doggy door! In, Out, In, Out, In, Out, In.... Where are those humans? Snuggle time....kiss, I love you I love you I love! I love it here! This is my bowl? Wow, food.....inhale, inhale..... Bristol, let's go play again! Time to lay in the grass with my girlfriend and share a stick together. Are they calling me? Ok...let's go in....love this couch. It's so soft. Look, I can look out the window. Wow, it's great here! Oh....scratch my belly. Kisses, oh I love kisses! I'm soooo happy! I love my forever home!

2 MORE DAYS!

Entry by future mom: Thinking about you today. You will be ours in 2 more days. Today you were having your surgery. I hope you are ok. Keep in mind we can't wait to see you on Saturday! We will take care of you for the rest of your life. My promise to you is to love you, snuggle with you, feed you, take care of you when you are sick, teach you things, bring you on cool adventures, spoil you and give you a forever home! Anxiously awaiting you Fender! Bristol can't wait to share her toys with you!

They're coming, they're coming!

Today my foster mom, Trisha, told me about a family coming to meet me. They have kids! Better yet, another dog! Wow....I'm so psyched! These dogs that I've been living with are starting to bring me down....they just don't want to play with me. I try to play, they don't want to!

I hear something....oh wait....who are these people coming out....is that the people who are coming to visit me? Oh wow...quick, let me out, let me out....open the gate....let me out! I'm free!!!! Oh wow, this girl dog likes to run like me...oh wow, she is rolling over so I can sniff her! She is PREEEETTTTYYY! Listen to the kids....they are laughing....I think I should go over to sniff them. Oh...I love to give kisses! How 'bout rubbing my belly you little human. AHHHHH..... "doh"....getting kisses from this other dog. What did they call her....Bristol. What a pretty name for such a pretty dog. Wonder if she wants to be my girlfriend. I'm gonna go lick her face....wonder if she likes her ears nibbled on. Oh, I love being picked up. The big humans are smiling! Wow, I could just spend all day with them. They love playing with me. Oh, I love these humans! Foster mom, can I keep them?

Wait....2 hours isn't enough...where are they going? Don't they like me? The kids, Bristol....the big humans....where are they going. Don't say goodbye! Please come back for me. What did she say? She promises to bring me to my new home after my operation.....wait a sec...does that mean I gotta go to the vet? Well, I guess if that's what it takes....I'll do it.

I can't wait to go to my FOREVER HOME! Only 6 days...and I sure will be counting down! Thank you so much Foster mom for taking such good care of me until my forever family came to give me a new home!
