Arrival Story:
My husband and I went to the pound and I fell in love the moment I saw Lucy! My husband didn't think she was cute (she was one big fur ball) and we had decided it had to be a mutual decision, so we went home. It took a week for me to convince my husband and we went back to get her. Mutual smutual!! Luckily she was still there and we took her home (after a trip to the groomer). Of course my husband loves her very much and he likes to always tell her she's lucky she's cute.

Lucy just became a big sister to Bradley. Also a Wheatable. They play NON STOP!! It's like someone let the lunatics run loose in the asylum. What I find funny is every morning Lucy has to smack Brad upside the head to say, "Listen puppy, I'm not a morning dog and just remember who's in charge here". Then they play.

They say there's a baby coming but I don't know what that is. I just have a feeling that Brad and I won't be the center of attention anymore.

I'll be a good girl of course, I don't really care anymore about that doll they keep showing me. I have to sit and behave before we can see it and sniff it, who's a doll. Bradley seems to think it's something really special but he's not so bright all the time.

Mom took Brad and I to the groomer and got a lot of our hair cut off. We were shedding A LOT and I think she was getting mad at us because of it. She had to vacuum all the time and I don't think she likes to do that. Bradley loves the vacuum, he's so weird. He makes mom vacuum him with the brush thingamabob. He just lays there and she sucks the hair off of him. I don't like the loud noise, it bothers me so I go sit in a corner.

So we'll see soon what all the fuss is about and this 'getting ready' for baby thing is all about. As long as I get my hugs and kisses from mom and dad - I don't think I'll mind.

Today I watched as dad sodded the backyard. BORING. He did put grass up by my tree. The tree I go to, to look for squirrels. I know they're up there. There's one squirrel that likes to torture me and sit in the crook of a tree and laugh at me from above. I hate him. One day I"m going to catch him.

Then there's that pesky little dog BRADLEY. Mom HAD to bring HIM home. He's alright. I like having someone to pick on but sometimes he's just a nusance. Every toy I love he's had to rip a hole in. Now mom and dad put them up out of reach and the only time I really get to play with them is when he's in his crate. Here's a secret. I torture him so they get annoyed and put him in his crate. Sneaky huh?

Anyway, another day tomorrow to look out the window and wait for something interesting to go by.
