 Quick Bio:
Likes: treats, belly rubs, walks, playing with my squeaky ball and fluffy toys, digging a hole in the same spot every once in awhile just to make mom a little crazy, (no one knows why I do it except me) and last but not least who doesn't like a good long nap

Pet-Peeves: The mail truck, the ups truck, windy days, that darn squirrel that keeps just out of my reach...

Favorite Toy: squeaky ball, fluffy toy, quackers, froggy, just tell me which one and I'll bring it to you, then you can chase me if you want to get it away from me.

Favorite Food: All food is good, but mom keeps it healthy now that I'm getting older. I love when company comes by and moms too busy to see what I get

Favorite Walk: down the block to the park

Best Tricks: I know them all, but I only do them for certain people, like my favorite neighbor Tony, he gives me treats everyday, I do this routine for him where first I sit then I give him one paw then the other, then I get up and do a little dance and finally speak

Arrival Story: Daisy became part of our family on August 23, 2000, a wonderful day that I often think of when I look at her. It was time to bring a pet into our life! My daughter and I headed over to Animal Welfare, both of us walking up and down the aisles, wanting to take them all home. All of a sudden we both stopped, she was looking at one cage with puppies, while I was transfixed on the one next to it. There sat this shaggy, scruffy tangled haired dog, looking so sad and scared. I bent down to read the card on the cage and it said name: Daisy, 2 yrs old, good with kids, good with other animals; owner had to give up because they had too many animals. WHAT! My heart was breaking, Daisy had been in a home for 2 years and all of a sudden here she is, alone in a cage. At least she was brought here and not just left on a corner somewhere, I thought. Meanwhile my daughter was set on getting a puppy, while I already new Daisy was the one. We walked down the rest of the aisles and came back to Daisy whose tail was already wagging as if she knew; she came right up to us and started licking my hand. We took her into the viewing area where she won our hearts even more and immediately became part of the family. We're not really sure what breed she is except for the fact that her previous owners listed part bichon frise on her info. In the winter I let her hair grow a little longer and she looks like a shaggy sheep dog, some people say a wheaten, some say a bearded collie. All we know for sure is she's our Daisy and we love her.
