Favorite Walk: He loves his back yard and being the spectator on the deck
Best Tricks: Standing up on his hind legs for a treat
Arrival Story: My mother and I found this little guy standing in the middle of an Eckerd's parking lot. He was standing in the middle of the lot and we immediately pulled over. There was a woman there who said she moved him out of the busy road and placed him in the parking lot. We think maybe she dumped him there. We could not leave him and he was in such bad shape. We did not even know what kind of dog he was because his hair was so over grown. We took him home and took him to the vet the next morning. It turns out that he had a badly injured eye and the vet said the eye needed to be removed. It broke my heart. He had a hair cut and he had all his shots. I brought him home to my guys and they all just welcomed him. My husband was out of town so he came home to a big surprise. I promised I would foster him and find him a home. My vet could have found him a home this the breed is in demand. But, after the surgery, my husband and I both were so attached to him that I could not take the chance of someone else letting him down. He was so happy in our home and he loves life. He has been so happy even after the way he was treated. I truly beleive he was a gift from god. I named him Lucky because he truly was lucky to have found me.
