Likes:
She loved Patches. She loves her "human" Mack.

Pet-Peeves:
She doesn't like to be around people she doesn't know. She will go hide if strangers come around.

Favorite Toy:
She like to play with a ball. She can catch them very well. She like to play with a rag toy, too.

Favorite Food:
She likes bones and Puperoni.

Favorite Walk:
She like to go up in the hills above our house and walk around. She also likes to walk near the lake.

Best Tricks:
Daisey can catch a ball very well. She is extremely intelligent. I think she is one of the most intelligent dogs I have ever known.

Arrival Story:
Daisey came to be a part of our family in March 0f 1996 when she was 5 months old. She was a very active pup. She was a companion to Patches, a Sheltie, we got in February of 1994. Daisey came from Bristol, TN. Patches passed away in August of 2006 and Daisey was sad to lose a wonderful friend. She has one "dog brother Shadow, a Sheltie, and a new "little dog brother" Gizzie, a Papillon. Daisey is in very good health for her age and enjoys life very much.

Daisey had a mischevious streak when she was young. She loved to sneak up and gnaw on her "human sister" Sarah. She loves to play. She isn't as active as she once was but some days she feels young again and runs and plays with her "dog siblings". Daisey is capable of two and three step thought processes and her intelligence level is very high. When she was young, her intelligence got her into trouble more than once. She would want to eat the cat's food which was out of her reach. She stood and looked around and pushed up a chair to the ledge where the cat food was located. She then jumped up into the chair and stood up in it and ate the cat food. She knew to distract the other dogs with false alarms and would steal their food, toys, or favorite spots to lie down. She is a good dog and minds well. She stays in our yard and will not leave it even though she has no leash or fence to keep her in. She just knows to stay in her own yard.

Daisey Mae had been sick for a while with kidney failure, but we had managed for her to have quality of life with a new diet and medicine.
A couple days ago, she took a turn for the worse and after a visit to the vet, we knew she didn't have much time. She passed away about 3:45pm today.

Daisey was a wonderful dog and will be greatly missed.
