getting his picture taken, not getting to go on rides, being left behind, not being able to "help" with the cows, getting kicked by the horses

Favorite Toy:
slimy ring, plastic barbell,Squeakie, Nobbly Wobbly, the pieces of the Nobbly Wobbly he took apart, his chew cat Tom, his herding cat Blancmange, anything that sprays water

Favorite Food:
Ol' Roy High Performance, No Name Kibbles 'n' Nibbles, any cat food he can find

Favorite Walk:
anywhere with his people, out to the cow pasture

Best Tricks:
herding water and sparks and smoke, throwing Squeakie into the bathtub and jumping in after it, throwing Squeakie into the toilet, looking hopefully at a person to get it out and finally retrieving it himself,

Arrival Story:
I came home from work one day to find one of our neighbours and his son there picking up things from my husband. They had Russ - then known as Ringo - along, and he was cruising the house, obviously looking for a place to "go". So, I took him outside, after making certain that he had a name that he sort of responded to. When the neighbour was getting ready to leave, he walked up with Ringo's vet records and said, "I guess he's yours now!" And it's been an interesting time ever since.

POTP for Cousin Abby

My mom isn't the best blogger on earth. She tends to spend her time on Facebook. However, she's come back to my blog now because Cousin Abby needs POTP. She's had a second cancer surgery and is now recovering at home.

As for me and my family, I noticed that my last entry was before the arrival of Tex. Tex has now gone on to another person, and Mom has a new (Easter 2011) horsefriend named Winston. Winston doesn't like being herded either.

In the meantime, I keep myself busy and enjoy my rides in the car . . .

More when Mom remembers again.

My farm family is going to be changing. I heard my mom talking and she's gotten another horse. I hope this one likes being herded! Foxy wasn't all that into it, and PJ just runs around like a fool when I try to herd her.

This one's name is Tex and he's supposed to be a big boy. I guess we'll find out when mom goes to pick him up on the weekend.

Cousin Abby, what have you done?

Oh, my dogness!

Mom opened her email and found 17 pup pal requests. A lot of them said that they were friends of yours. What did you do?

I'm keeping busy. Mom buys me toys at that store where everything costs $1 and I keep destroying them. Mom figures that's better than chewing on her dress shoes, her riding boots, her belts or her saddle, so she just keeps replacing them.

It's spring here, so I can get disgustingly dirty chasing the cows around. That's always fun. BOL

Mom's getting me a proper bed, since she seems to object to my sleeping on her clothes. I moved into my parent's room during the cold snap, and haven't moved out yet.

Right now, Mom's at the library and I got to come along for the ride. When we're done here, we're going to go back by the neighbour's place and see if that cow has had her calf yet. It's a busy life, being a farm dog.

And Hi! to all my new pup pals.
