Arrival Story: I was looking for a shih-tzu and found a lady in Johnson City, Tn, who raised and sold them, She had a ad in the local paper so we went and saw the litter, Che Che was the only female in the litter and the smallest. It was love at first site.

Bio: Her moms name was Connie Chung Lange and her dads name was Chin Kai Men Ti Smith. She was a delight to have her as part of our family, My mom, dad and i dearly loved her, we took her with us to festivals, i pushed her in a baby stroller since she had arthritis in her little leg and hip and she had several health issues but she was a real trooper. We took great care of her until the end and we miss her so much so i am devoting this webpage to her memory. If love could have kept her alive, we would have never lost her. It has been almost 2 years since we lost her but she will always be forever in our hearts.

You left us one year ago this coming friday, the pain has lessened some but your memory will never die. You got sick on sunday morning and i gave you some medicine and you seemed to feel better that evening but didn't eat much all day, but i had been through this many times with your flare ups not knowing it would be your last.
Monday-Nov 6 06-Monday- That day your nana called me at work and said you still wasn't feeling good and she was going to take you to the vet and get you checked out. Dr. Gent ran blood work and gave you some medicine and said not to give you much water or food. He would call back the next day with the results.
Tuesday-Election day-Nov 7,06- I stayed home from work to wait the results of the test, Dr. Gent called around 9:30 and said to get you there as quick as i could if i wanted him to save you, he wanted to put you in the hospital for a few days but i told him that you got upset when you were away from me so he said i could bring you in the morning and pick you up in the evening so your nana and i took you out there and he gave you a IV with your medicine in it to rehydrate you and gave you an antibiotic and reglan for your stomach and we picked you up that evening and you seemed to feel better but he said still not to feed you or give you water but we let you lick ice cubes when you got thirsty.
Wed-Nov 8-06-I worked that day so your nana took you back to the vets office for more treatment and she picked you back up around 5:00. I kept you on my mind all day. When i got home you were laying in your bed lifeless and couldn't walk so we called him back and he returned our call around 9:00 that night. I layed down around 11:00 with you, You slept and got up and went to the edge of the bed and i set you down and you walked out of the room and starting panting, I gave you some more licks froma ice cube and you layed back down and slept a few more minutes, around 2:00 am you got back up and from then on you were in so much pain, your nana and i walked the floor the rest of the night with you, we knew we were loosing you but there wasn't anything we could do, we felt so helpless. Around 6:00 you started getting worse and screaming in pain. Our hearts ripped out of you each time you screamed.
Nov 9, 06 :Around 7:00 Am I called Dr. Gent and told him we were up all night with you and you was dying and he said to meet him out at the office and he would put you to sleep so nana and i left to go out there but you were almost gone when we got there. I held you all the way there and carried you in. He was there waiting on us and let us in. He came and administered the shot in your IV port and you slipped away. It tore us both apart and we were both crying very hard and he said we were doing the right thing. I hated to loose you but i hated for you to be in so much pain that it made it easier to give you up
We brought you home and layed you down in your bed and left and got you a pet casket up at Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens and brought it back home and put you in it and we started digging your grave down below the house. I wanted you to be be buried at the house instead of the pet cemetary because i knew you didnt want to be away from me and you never will be.
