 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: April 3rd 2001
 Likes: Chewing her bone

Pet-Peeves: Loud music and joggers

Favorite Toy: Her Luv-A-Pet squeaky toy from PetSmart

Favorite Food: Purina ProPlan Selects Turkey flavor

Favorite Walk: Park

Best Tricks: Sit, down, jump, roll over

Arrival Story: I adopted her from the Humane Society of April 3, 2007. We're not sure as to her exact birth date.

Bio: Before being surrendered to the Humane Society by her previous owner, Lola became pregnant by two dogs, a Great Dane and a Labrador Retriever. October of 2006, she delivered a mixed litter of seven puppies at the Humane Society but one was stillborn. She must have gone through a ton of stress, due to the fact that Lola is very small for a German Shepherd Dog (only 45 lbs.) and Great Danes are known for their big puppies.
But now, Lola is happy and healthy, and loves to chase squirrels and falling leaves in her backyard. :-)

Yeah... it's back to puppy school for me, mommy says! Apparently I've become a tiny bit "unruly," and by that, I mean I only listen to mommy (or whoever is in charge) when I feel like it. Strange huh?? Those humans want to be in charge. Hmph!
The plan my mommy says we're following is called "NILIF" which is short for Nothing In Life Is Free. Here is what we're doing
3/4 cup kibble in the morning, handfed, only after humans are done eating.
3/4 cup kibble in the evening, handfed, only after humans are done eating.
Must sit, and stay seated, while humans enter a building, then I will be called.
Must sit, and stay seated, while humans exit a building, then I will be called.
Must sit before being allowed to enter a car.
Must sit before being allowed to exit a car while human reaches for leash.
Only allowed a few basic toys in the toy box, the most desirable toys are kept for when mommy wants to play and mommy both starts and stops playtime.
No more sleeping in mommy's bed. :-(
No more sleeping on the couch. (!!!!)
Mommy says doing the above will help me become more reliant on humans, and realize that humans are the leader, and therefore become more obedient. It's gonna be a shock at first.. even though mommy plans to implement this stuff in slow doses... but I think I can survive... maybe...
