Holy Milkbones!!! I'm Dog of the Day today!! WOOOOOOOOF!

AND to make today even better, MOMMA'S COMING HOME TO SEE ME!!!!! Just until tomorrow, but I'm soooooo excited.

I visited her a couple weeks ago with Gramma and Grampa. It was sooo much fun. I got to play in the big lake, run on the beach, go for a walk by a river, HAD LOTS OF YUMMY TREATS, went to an appl festival, and an apple orchard! I never did any of that stuff before, so it was really really super amazing fun!

OK, Gramma says I have to go potty now, I hope all you pups are having as good a day as me!!

It's only been a year??

WOW! One year ago today I was rescued from the shelter and brought into my furever home!

It's been so pawsome, I love Momma and my new family so much. Momma sent me a whole box full of toys and treats to celebrate my Gotcha Day! I was soooooo happy, she even got me a new squeaky squirrel! How did she know mine was all chewed up?? That was the first thing I took out of the box and I ran upstairs with it so no one could steal it. wooooooof!

Mom's going to be home in THREE WEEKS! I can't wait to see her and sniff her and show her everything I've been doing and show her how I've been digging [ooooops... maybe not] annd and and....!!!!!!!

woof woof!! I'm so glad to be home. I hope every pup at all the shelters finds as good a home as I have.

I feel like a princess!

Soooooo this living at Gramma's thing? BEST thing ever! Besides living with Momma of course...

I'm having a great time here. I'm only by myself for a few hours everyday when everyone's at work or something... which I hate... but I guess I can deal with a few hours. But then they come home and I get to run around and play and go on walks all night long! Well, until bedtime anyway, which I love because they got me a new bed, and I'm sooooooo tired by the time it's time for bed.

They tried to give me a bath yesterday, and they sort of did it, but I didn't let them without a fight. BOL! They said when the weather is cold again I'm totally going to PetSmart and getting bathed there. Or Momma can do it when I come to visit her. bol.

I'm almost done with my icky medicine from my bladder infection. They think they're being tricky by putting it in turkey, but even though I know, I still take it because I LOVE TURKEY!

Oh well. I still miss Mommy, but I know we're going to see her soon. I just hope she knows that I'm happy and being well-taken care of. Gramma always tells me when she's on the phone with her, so I'm sure Momma knows.

MOMMA'S HOME!!! And I moved!!

HIYA PUPS!

Whoa, have I had a busy week!

Mommy finally came home from her summer job! I was so excited to see her, I didn't know what to do or show her first! I'm so relieved and happy she came back!

Well, I no longer live in my old home. Momma had to leave to go up north, but I got to go with her! I really like it up there, there's lots of fun smells and woods and beaches and a big lake!

But, I had to go home with my grandparents, because Momma said for some reason, I'm too big to live with her. =( Thankfully, Gramma and Grampa said that I could live with them while Mom's in her apartment for a year. Then, she can find someplace that will FOR SURE let me live with her! She thought I would be able to because she says hardly any apartment sticks to their pet rules, but I guess this one does. She really had no choice but to try though, I had no where else to go!

I think I'm going to like living with Gramma and Grampa though. I loooooove their backyard, they have a big house, and THREE people to give me attention and treats! I'm going to miss Mommy, AGAIN, but she said we'll be able to have sleepovers and visit allllll the time. Woof!!

Mommy's home right now, because I have to go to the vet. =( Hopefully I get SOMETHING good out of it! bol.

When is Momma coming home?

Momma's leaving tomorrow...

Momma told me that tomorrow is the day that she's leaving for two whole months. I don't really know why, but she said it's important that she goes, so I guess I understand. I will miss her sooo much. I will miss our walks and afternoons together. And she makes the best frozen Kongs, but I know she taught Daddy how to do it. bol.

Two months is a long time for peoples, I can't even think about how long it is in dog time! woof. Maybe I will try and send her something, like a squirrely or a bird if I could ever catch one. Momma says where she's going though there are lots of creatures that I would love to chase, which makes me jealous!

Tomorrow I get to go to day camp while Daddy is helping her move. Arroooo!

Momma says she'll still update Dogster while she's away, so she'll be talking for me in the forums. She says she hopes everypup has a great summer!

Party animal!

WOOF! I am so beat after last weekend.

Momma had a huuuuuuuge party at Gramma's house last weekend for her grad..graduit...grad u a shun? Whatever it was, it was sooooo fun. There was a TON of food [which people fed to me, shhhh don't tell Momma!] and sooo many people that wanted to pet me and play with me. I don't think I've ever seen that many people before in one place. Oh wait, there was the Walk & Wag... but woof, these people were here to see ME!

The next day I was still at Gramma's, but then Daddy had to take me home with him because Momma was going on a little trip. I missed her, but I got to go to DAY CAMP at PetSmart which is my FAVORITE. I always have energy for that place!

Now Momma's talking to me about something about her leaving for two months and I have to stay home with Daddy. I don't know how long two months is, but if it's longer than two days I will miss her a lot. woof.

Well, time to go, I think I hear a frozen Kong calling my name....

Cats are MEAN!!!

I got scratched by a cat yesterday!!! It was so scary!!

I went somewhere with my Momma yesterday, and when I got out of the car, I got attacked!! Finally he stopped and got taken away... and I was left with a big ol' scratch on my nose. Ouch. =(

But I got lots of extra love... I made them think I was REALLY hurt but really I'm OK, I just wanted to be babied. bol.

Other than that though, this is an exciting weekend, I'll update more later!!

I'm wiped!

This weekend was so exciting!!

Saturday we went to the Walk & Wag fundraiser event for our local humane society. It was SOOOO much fun! I got to meet a million other pups, play fun doggie games, take a nice long walk through the woods, and even watch an agility show! AND I got a TON of free treats!!!! I got to play bobbing for hot dogs, where I had to stick my head in a bucket with water and get the hot dogs out, and I had to sniff out treats in bales of hay. It was so pawsome! They raised a ton of money, way more than their goal, so it was really cool. Mommy and Daddy left me at home for awhile when we got back, but that was fine with me because I was sooo tired!

Yesterday we went to a little family get-together. I had never been there before, but they had a backyard so I was happy! They yelled at me for eating my poop in front of company though... what's wrong with that?? I got to play with all the kids and play with all their balls [I popped one.. oops!] and just ran around all day long.

Well, I need a nap, so I'll catch all you pups later! Woof!

We met our goal!

Mommy found out today that we met our fundraising goal for our local humane society! We're participating in an event called Walk & Wag 2008 at the Humane Society of Huron Valley. It's a big dog walk, and you have to raise money to donate to the shelter. We set a goal, and we made it as of today!!!

We're so grateful to everyone that helped us. It's so good to know that our family and friends care about shelter animals just as much as we do. I was a shelter pup once, and I wish everypup could go to a home as great as mine is!
