 Birthday: December 23rd 2004
Likes: His mommy and daddy and mommy's handmade treats

Pet-Peeves: Other dogs sniffing his butt!

Favorite Toy: A deer glove puppet and a big stuffed toy dog

Favorite Food: Mommy's hand made chicken jerky and blueberry cookies

Favorite Walk: Nagai Park

Best Tricks: Biting daddy's big toe on command

Arrival Story: An acquaintance was looking for a new home for a pup, even though it was pure breed, the breeder didn't want to take care of him after 3 months like many other irresponsible breeders in Japan. I asked her if I can see the puppy and maybe I could help her with finding a good home. But when I saw him I fell in love with him instantly. I brought him home right away. Ever since then he is our baby.

Bio: Toto was potty trained in two weeks after his arrival.
He could sit, stand, jump up, lie down, roll over and stay(wait until OK sign) in a month. He always loves to learn something new and he masters it after few times of practice! Now we have taught him some new tricks, such as sitting up, crying and hide-and-seek with his snack in my hand. He is super smart!!
He understands so many human words in three different languages and of course he speaks in his own language to communicate with his Mom and Dad.

Hello guys~ I love treats too especially the ones Mommy makes.. Mommy is very very cautious about purchasing any kinds of food for me these days - she prefers cooking them herself.
I would love to share with you all but since we are too far away, here is the recipe.. ask your mommy to make one for you too! It's really easy!!!
First, mommy buys some good white chicken meat - usually lean chicken breast. She removes all the fat from the meat and cut them into long stripes. Then she wraps the meat stripes with plastic wrap and does really funny thing with it. She grabs the rolling pin and starts hitting them like she is really angry! (I thought Daddy drove her crazy again at first but she did this all the time before she cooks them)
Anyway, after few more banging noise, she removes the flat-as-paper chicken stripes from the plastic wrap and puts them on a microwave-safe dish. She then microwaves them for about 5 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
Our microwave might be little different from you guys so she says always check the meat the whole time when you are doing it for the first time. You don't wanna burn this delicious treats!!
I hope you enjoy this treat as much as I do! Let me know if any of you have tried it!
Doggie Love and Hugs to you all!!

Finally I can walk with my four feet without hopping and frequently sitting down to get some rest!
I was bitten by a Jack Russel Terrier 3 weeks ago.
My mommy and I, we went to a park where we usually go in the morning and took the usual walking course just like any other day. We got to the area where I usually see many of my friends and say hello to them. It was a scorching hot day and I didn't feel like walking anymore. I looked up at mommy to tell her that I'm tired. She noticed it quickly and she picked me up and put me on her lap and she was about to give me some nice cold water from her bag.
At that time one of the dogs I know came by, a muscular Jack Russell called LEMON - he always loved to get attention from my mommy and my mommy would sometimes rub his belly as he rolled over by her feet. Then he would give me a brief hello.
But that day he seemed different. He stared at me the whole time I was on my mommy's lap. His stare was sharp and full of jealousy. Mommy also sensed something was wrong. As she was about to stand up, he ran at me with his big mouth wide open - all I could see was his big shiny white teeth in front of my face!! I was horrified and helpless.
Before his teeth snaped at my face, mommy blocked him with her right arm and pushed him away. Then she quickly lifted me up. She held me up to her chest and we thought it was over. But it wasn't over for him. He jumped so high up and got me on my back leg and his sharp teeth sled down and it cut the bottom of my paw and punctured two holes on the top of my foot. As my blood dropped on mommy hand, she panicked. Other friends' moms came and LEMON's mom came to put him on the leash. He was still growling and barking obnoxiously. Mommy washed my foot and her arm with running water and put me in her bicycle basket. She rushed to the vet but we had to wait in a long line. I knew she had to go to work soon but she made a couple of phone calls and sat down outside of the vet so I guessed she had canceled her classes. Mommy's right arm was swollen up badly and it was turning red and blue from internal bleeding. She didn't seem to care about her arm but kept looking at my foot with tears in her eyes. Shortly Daddy arrived and he seemed upset about LEMON and his mom not being there with us. When he saw my foot and mommy's arm he got very angry.
Well, everything happened so fast but the pain lasted for a while. Every time I walked little bit, the cut would open up again from the pressure and it would bleed again. Mommy and Daddy had to change the bandage many times a day and it really hurt. I never cried aloud though cuz I knew it would make Mommy and Daddy sadder. It was very sad and stressful 3 weeks for all of us.
But now I feel much better, I even had some energy to run around with my good friend Marie at the park today! After seeing me doing much better, Mommy and Daddy are happier too. I hope I would never have to go through this again, I hope none of my friends would ever have to go through what I have been through! So take care you guys and be careful too!!
