Arrival Story:
We had a 12 year old Beagle who was getting up there in age and was not in good health. We later found out that he had a tumor in his larynx and had severe arthritis. We got Rascal thinking that maybe he would put some spark back into Shelby. It worked for a little while, but Rascal was just too much for him. We put Shelby to sleep in June of 2001. Since then, Rascal has become my "baby". My mom passed away a month before we got Rascal and he was a welcomed distraction since I took my mom's passing really hard.
