Walks, ice cream, chicken, Yoplait Chocolate "Whips" (just a little bit)
Being brushed; seeing another (leashed) dog while on leash! They go ballistic!
Jett likes a crowing rooster which he has ruined and I can't get them in Oregon, so he likes a ball that is fluorescent and makes eight different noises when I throw it. Puck isn't that much into toys.
Barbecued chicken and steak!
Sadly, in Point Isabel near where I lived in the SF Bay Area. It's a dog park with a view of the GG Bridge, Bay Bridge, Marin Headlands, SF Skyline, Berkeley Hills and Berkeley Marina. It's a disneyland for dogs!! I miss it too!
All they can do is "sit", but they can pee or poop without me ever seeing them do it.
I picked out a cat at the local shelter. I had to wait to get her, and when I came back they told me she had been put in a foster home and I should go to my local Pet Food Express to get the phone number of the foster home where the cat was now at. I did so, bringing the registration number, but on the way out of the store a young clerk tapped me on the shoulder and shoved a piece of paper in front of me and said, "Would you be interested in adopting a couple Shih Tzu puppies? My girlfriend's selling two brothers, littermates, for only $200 apiece!" Well, I took the paper home, and it had the name of the woman and her phone number and I phoned her. We agreed to meet downtown in the town I lived in. It was at an apartment building. She came at the appointed time and was carrying a dog crate. We greeted and met each other, then she put the crate down and opened the door. Out jumped two 12 week old Shih Tzu fluffballs; one silver and white, one all black. They had just been groomed, and wore little scarfs tied jauntily at the neck with little ducklings on them. I was a goner. Cat? What cat? I bought them and I've lived with them every since, 8 years. They are my best friends, and the best friends I've ever had in my entire life. I can't imagine living without them.
The were neutered at 9 months, the day before Thanksgiving. I waited a bit because it was hard to do that to them. But I heard they'd live longer if I did, so that sold me. Their mother and father were show dogs. These dogs aren't "best in show", but they're "best in show" to me! They're adorable, but they're spoiled rotten and aren't entirely housebroken to this day. The silver and white one, Puck, is my "velcro" dog. He sleeps on the bed near my face, and is always next to me wherever I sit. Right now he is laying on the rug next to me on the computer. Man, I love these boys SO much!!!!

Today and yesterday are so frickin' hot! Temps in the high nineties and supposed to get to over a hundred tomorrow! Mom doesn't take us out very long, cuz it sure is hot and we have long hair. She did take us in the car to the store and we almost died in the car, even if she was only gone a short time. She had the windows down and we had to go to the bottom of the car. I don't think she'll do that again, or I hope not anyway. She's out of treats and we miss them, but we could lose a few pounds she said. She should talk.....

Here in Portland area summer has just started. It doesn't start till after the fourth of July. Longtime residents here know this.
We look so cute in our little pink and white and red and white bows. They are trimmed with pearl doodads. If mommy could figure out how to add another photo we could show you. We have just been groomed, also. Me, Jett, has an eye infection for which mom took me to the vet. She puts drops in my eyes every three hours or so. I feel better now and it doesn't hurt. It was a bit uncomfortable before she got the medicine - I had gook coming out of my eyes and it wasn't pretty. The whites of my eyes were red, too, but they are clearing up. It is so hot here, we are just laying on the laminate floors because that is cool.
Man, it's too hot to do anything but lay around! Next walk - about 8 pm, I believe.....maybe it'll cool somewhat by then.....

Hi, this is Jett! Man, my eyes were bright red this week (the white part, that is), and they were tearing up a lot so mom took me to Dr. Norman, and I have an infection! Dr. N. gave mom these eye drops to give me, I don't like them but they help - I feel better and my eyes don't hurt anymore!
It is getting hot here - we are cool inside here, though. Mom still takes us out for walks even though it's hot, but we feel so good when we get back in here! I wish we could go to a new dog park! Maybe mom will look for one next week! Wow, mom has a busy week! Two MRI's scheduled (for HER), a visit with her Financial Planner here, and there must be something else, I'll go look on the calendar! Puck, he's the same - I still hog his food, but mom comes to break it up, because Puck gets pissed and barks at me!
Well, will bark more later. Gotta go!
