Arrival Story:
Found as a stray by Clarksville Animal Control, Maya was never reclaimed. AC kept her long past the mandatory waiting period, because she was still a puppy, and so beautiful. Finally, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Humane Society came for her. This Humane Society has no store-front or facilities, so the animals go straight into foster care. Once they listed her on Petfinder, I knew I loved her. I sent in my application, they checked my references, and did a home inspection. I was a bit worried about this, as I live in a one bedroom apartment, but I have enough ideas about how to keep an energetic pup like Maya occupied and excercised that they approved me. She came home with me on Thursday, 9/6/07.
