Arrival Story:
we were looking for a companion for Oliver, our beloved first Cavalier, who was from the famous Grantilley kennel in the UK. It so happens that we saw Riley's uncle in a dog show and fell in love with him. We found out that his father came from the same kennel as Oliver, and was his travel partner (same crate) over the pond. We were very lucky because not only was Riley available at that time, but he was the only boy in the litter of 4 pups, and here he is!!! Still beautiful and youthful, and he'll be 10 years old this year!!!

Bio:
It used to be just Oliver and me. But when Oliver passed away suddenly at 9 years old, mommy and daddy was super sad and couldn't think of getting me another brother for a year! But Hurricane Katrina hit, and my mom was so upset seeing all the dogs that became homeless and needed a home, which compelled her to adopt Teddy. Oh...at first I was furious, I was finally number one around here and getting used to all the attention! When he arrived, he wanted and stole all my attention!!! ( As you can see from some of my pictures on his page, I was quite suspicious of him and not too pleased), but things have certainly gotten better. We are now buddies, and like to do the same things, or rather he likes to copy everything I do as you can see in the photos!!! Mom said he was here to help me get more exercise, but hee! hee!, I trained him to be just like me, and now, he's even surpassed me in the lazy department. You know how they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks...well, you sure CAN teach a new dog some old tricks!!! :) I think I showed him how to live the good life a little too well! I do love the little bugger, but I wished mom would have consulted me before adopting him, as I would have preferred a little sis instead. :) You can find out more about us at CavalierSpaniels.com
