A Circle of Love

Upon a late summer day I saw her face, that slight tilt of her head, sitting there, and somehow I knew, or perhaps I prayed, that she would be my wife.
I courted her and dated her, always thinking, Wow!, what a grand beauty she was, and how lucky I felt that she actually was going out with me….Going through all the proper channels, for I was not going to risk anything, I asked after a proper time, if I my have her hand in marriage, was I nervous waiting for a reply, I mean, what did I have at that time to offer the most beautiful woman around? But she said yes and I told her that one day I would give her everything, and that our love would last forever, from here to beyond the heavens, that she is my one true love…
We have had the grand pleasure to raise two wonderful children here, Tassy Susanne and Snoopy, and are awaiting our first grand child, a girl, Valentine Rose by the parents Tassy and Vip Fielder to be born around February 21st, 2010. Snoopy is soon to marry his girl, Katie Scarlet…
Yes, we have both been blessed, but perhaps I have been blessed the most because I have the love of my Firefly, and I still look at the same face, still see the tilt of her beautiful head and think back to the day I met my Princess that late summer day and think….
