well with maggie mae it was "love at first lick". i wasn't allowed to have a dog when i lived with my father. so my fiance decided that he would buy me a dog for mybirthday... well we went to our local humane society and were looking at a lot of cute little dogs, but none of them really felt right... so my fiance was looking and kept hearing this "big" dog bark... but could find no "big" dogs mixed in with all the little ones... he saw miss maggie mae sittin there and continued to look for what dog was making this bark... well it was her... he kept saying what about this one... so finally i said alright... i mean she was kinda funny looking cuz she had just had her hair cut and she wasn't the type of dog i had been looking for... but when we went into this room and i gave her a treat she immediatley jumped in my lap and licked me right in the face.... so from then on it's been... "love at first lick"
