I went with a friend to see a litter of puppies, she was thinking of having one. I walked in and Milly grabbed my sleeve and that was it I picked her up and bought her home, my friend didn't buy a puppy after all. Milly was 6 weeks old when I bought her home. she instantly became part of our family. Bio: Milly passed away suddenly after a short illness on the 30th August 2007, She is now playing on Rainbow Bridge with all her new friends. My world has been torn apart, she was my constant comapnion for nearly 11 years. Such a lovable adorable dog, she loved everyone and was loved by everyone who met her. Milly came to work with me every day and had a massive fan club. What a personality she had! Even the coldest of people melted when they laid eyes on her, she had a way of getting a fuss from clients without them even knowing they were doing it! She'd position herself under their hand and gently nudge the person sitting there, before they knew it they'd be fussing her head. Milly had an accident back in 2003, we thought we would lose her then as the vets said there was no hope for her after she damaged her spine, I didn't want to give up on her that easily so looked for ways to help, I started massaging her legs and back daily then found a fantastic place called Pet Needs who had a hydrotherapy pool for dogs - what a miracle find that was. Milly started swimming every week and before long she was back to her mad bouncy self, her right hind leg never regained full strength but it never slowed her down. She used to look so cute swimming in the pool with the owner Barry in the pool with her looking after her. She'd be wearing the cutest little ife jacket. Milly loved going for walks, my Dad would take her out often during the week for long walks, she'd come back so full of excitement amost lke she had a story to tell about where she'd been. She was a true friend and constant companion who I miss so much. We love you Milly.
