Arrival Story: I GOT ADOPTED!!!! WISH ME LUCK IN MY NEW FOREVER HOME!!!
Bio: My brother and I came from a high kill shelter in Marion, IL. Luckily CDR rescued us because we are so cute and irressitable.
Calvin and I got adopted on the same day, but my new home didn't work out because my new mom was allergic to me. It broke her heart that she had to give me back but she wanted to make sure that I would be able to get a good home while I was still a puppy.
I'm not a jumper or nipper. I don't make a mess in my crate. I usually wake up at 5am though and have to go pottie. When I am loose in the house I don't exactly know how to tell anyone I have to go pottie so I'm still working on that with my foster mom.
My foster sister doesn't have much to do with me since she is older, but I still take a walk with her and Sniffy (another rescue dog) every night when I come home from work. (Yep, I get to go to work with my foster mom). Since I get so much exercise and Sniffy and I are always playing I sleep through the night. That makes everyone in the house very happy!
I listen pretty well and am a very quick learner. I don't really get in trouble unless I put something in my mouth that I shouldn't, then my foster mom says "No, drop it" and I stop doing whatever I was doing. Then she tells me that I am a "Good Boy". I am a very laid back and shy puppy but I will learn to love you like I have my foster mom if you will give me the chance.
I love to ride in the car. I have to sit or lay down in the front sit. I am not allowed to rough house in the car, so either I sleep on the way home or look out the window.
If you would like to have a very good puppy and are willing to give me lots of love and hugs, please stop by and visit me.
p.s. I love tummy rubs!!
