A friend and her daughter both had a dog. One was a male toy poodle and the other was a female yorky terrier/shih tzu mix. Neither were fixed, her daughter came over with her poodle and the two dogs ran off in a room somewhere. The rest is history.

Dawson was the runt of a litter of 4, 2 males and 2 females.
