Working hard

Mom has been away, busy working with me in class and with her taking pictures. Like, I proudly finished Novice II and I'm in Rally now. I do what Mom asks me to do but I don't know why she's so picky as to where I sit down when she wants me to sit. I mean, like I sit down but she wants me to sit next to her feet when we stop walking. Like that's really picky if I do say so!
I just had a birthday ... Whoo-hoo! But its like any other day ... I get squeezed and hugged everyday and a good butt scratching too!
Mom doesn't make a fuss over birthdays much anymore ... guess when we get all grown up ... its just like another day. I don't care, just as long as she keeps giving me those hugs and butt scratchings - like I'm happy cause my Mom is happy! That's all that matters to me. I luv my Mom.
Anyway ... hope all my dogster friends are well and tail wagging happy.

Foster puppy

Well, I don't know, like my Mom has way too big of a heart, like she brought home this strange little puppy, like me and my big sis Jazz and Rose wasn't enough ... but no, this little pup invaded our home. Mom says that this was a special pup, an Aussie that was sort of deaf and impaired slightly in one eye. I had to tell this little pup who was boss around here ... but my big sis, Jazz really liked this pup and taught her how to play tug-of-war and chase. I just glared and watched them play ...
But Mom and the rest of the family seem to be a little gloomy today. I guess this puppy is starting to have problems ... and she's leaving to go to the doctor tomorrow ... and won't be coming back. (I'm sooo glad). Now our family can get back to our normal routine ... and I can take my place back with my big sis, Jazz ...
Mom says this little puppy has had it rough, being chained to a house left in the icy weather ... and not even get to eat much either.
Now the pup acts like she's got a bad headache ... and keeps one eye closed. Mom gives her medicine to help with the pain ...
But like, she's going to a Vet tomorrow and then will remain with the rescue group to decide what they're going to do with the puppy.
Like I feel sorry for her ... but glad that she's not coming back. Mom don't like me telling the pup what I think about her! But that's what I'm suppose to do to tell her where I stand in the pecking order! Mom thinks that this pup may not have a great future since she may have some hidden problems with her health. She thinks that this pup was abused and was born with her problems and no one understands her. I love my mom ... she cares so much for all of us ...

Been busy

I've been away for a while. Mom has got a lot going on and hasn't had time to check out what has been going on on Dogster. She's so busy lately. I'm like in an obedience class now and Mom is so proud of me ... I'm doing everything she ask me to do...
Mom says we're going to foster a couple of abandoned Aussie puppies ... that should be fun! They were rescued with their siblings and momma in an open field. Like, I was really glad that they were rescued before this ice storm moved in. Like, Brrrr!
I don't like this ice stuff ... it's cold and hard to walk on .... I'm much happier all snuggled up with Mom but I have to make a trip outside for those necessary occasions. :)

Official Therapy Girl!

WHOO-HOO! I got a certificate and a little heart to wear on my collar from TDI, Inc.! I'm NOW an OFFICIAL Therapy Dog! Like, I can't wait to go visiting people! Mom says we're going to get on a schedule to visit some nursing homes and brighten up someone's day! There's one place near our home that doesn't have any dogs that go visit, and they want us on a regular basis! Like, this is fun! I can wear more BLING - another heart and a scarf that says 'PAWS'. I feel like a SUPERSTAR! Everyone wants to see ME! :)

Smelling the flowers

Wow! Like I've been smelling the flowers and well, Mom has been super busy ... and well, like it's been like f o r e v e r since Christmas that my diary has ever been updated! Geez!
Mom has been like really busy taking me to visit people. She has me go in and be petted by these strange older people. I have to look out for those chairs on wheels. Like some of those people don't always see me and I try to keep my feet out of the way. Mom says I'm to learn to be a therapy dog. Sometimes it's fun to go. I get to sit on a few laps and be held and hugged. Like, sometimes I hug them back and they really like that. But I have to make sure Mom is there with me. I don't know why I'm visiting these people exactly, but Mom seems to think it's okay. I keep an eye on her to make sure that she's going to be there and not leave me. Like, I've been to three homes before Mom took me in and gave me a forever home. The breeder told Mom that I was born in N. Carolina and lived there for a little while and move to Georgia and then to Stilwell, OK. where I picked Mom to take me home with her. I snuggled up in her arms, stuck my nose inside her open jacket, and fell asleep. I love my Mom.

I really liked the day when me and my sis (Jazzy) spent the day with a bunch of kids. Like, they grouped around us, and petted us and gave us hugs and kisses! That was so much FUN! Some of the kids had sticky fingers, so I couldn't resist giving their fingers a few little licks. :)
Anyway, like, I passed all the stuff needed to be a therapy dog and I will soon be a member of TDI, Inc. as soon as Mom sends the paper work in. Like, I even get to where a scarf that says PAWS on it; part of an organization group of therapy dogs. Like, its more blingage to wear which is just like, super fine with ME!

Christmas

Like, Christmas at home is new for me. Mom gave me a Christmas stocking filled with cool toys and a rawhide shaped candy cane. like, I didn't know what to do with it until I saw my big sis, Jazzy take off with her stocking! like, I didn't know the things inside of it were for ME! I got a floppy legged stuffed dog toy and a tug of war tie. Really, I don't play tug of war like my sis does ... but I just loved the stuffed toy and rawhide! I stripped the little red rawhide ribbon right off the bone! But omd! Mom grabbed it before I could actually enjoy it ... she was afraid I would choke on it!
We also got some yummy doggy cookies too! Mom gave each of us one. Rose kind of spoiled it all though! I mean, like she swallowed hers whole and stopped breathing! Scared Mom really bad. Like, she almost dropped the bucket of cookies to grab Rose up to get the cookie out of her mouth! But Rose was able to cough up the cookie and eat it like she should have. Silly girl, I mean she thinks that we're going to take her cookie away ... like REALLY! I mean, we were too busy working on our own to go get hers!

Well, Mom says New Year's Eve is coming soon ... not sure what that means, I mean, like everyday is just another day to play and just BE ME!

Halloween

Mom and Mom's daughter, me and Jazzy all went trick or treating! It was fun! Like we wore our pumpkin jackets, and of course, I had my bling on too! Mom even put a little orange bow in my hair on the back of my head! Just FABULOUS! I was strutting my stuff, look'n pretty for everyone to see! :)
Mom and Mom's daughter dressed up too. They looked scary ... but they didn't scare me ... hehehe ... I knew who they were, no silly black cloak and mask can fool me!
We went from one house to the next. Mom's daughter knocked on doors, and Jazzy sat real pretty, hoping to get something to eat. But Mom told the people we could just be petted ... no treats. Awww. Like, I don't think that's very fair! Anyway, we must have like walked for miles! We met princesses, skeltons, and dinasours, other little people that we had no idea what they were suppose to be, along the way ... and we met some older people, a really cool black cat that didn't like us too much, and a few talkative dogs. Jazzy and I really wanted to chase the cat, but Mom told us "no". Darn it! Like, that would have been totally FUN!
When we finally got back home, Jazzy's Mom spilled out all the candy on the floor to survey what she got. After a few sniffs to see what she poured out on the floor, Jazzy and I plopped down ... like, totally exhausted! Mom gave us our treats and we fell fast asleep!

What a night! Trick or treating is like, TOTALLY FUN!

New Pictures

OMD! Like, My Mom got crazy with the camera today! Of course, like, I just love to pose and look pretty! Me and My big sis Jazzy were just being ourselves in our back yard! Like, I love to have my picture taken ... but OMD!I'm not too thrilled about wearing a pumpkin jacket! I mean like this is just totallyweird! Mom said something about Halloween, what ever that is ... like why do I have to wear this silly thing? I much rather wear blingage than cover up my pretty coat! Yes ... Mom caught me smilin' and show'n off my bling in one of the pictures! Hehehe!

MY GLAMOROUS PHOTO SHOOT!

It was like, a really gorgeous day to bring out the camera to take pictures of ME and MY family! I sat REAL pretty too! I'm like, a STAR! It was like really hard though, I got sooo bored waiting .... I mean, like I had to sit like this, or sit like that, or do this or do that. I mean really! What does Mom expect!? I mean, like, I AM FABULOUS! If it wasn't for those Yummy COOKIES, I would just like not sit still, it's so hard because I wanted to do what I wanted! Mom got all the agility stuff out too. I mean like, my big sis, Jazzy HAD to show off. There was this lady there with her camera rolling around on the ground taking like, pictures of ME and Jazz! I mean, Jazz was just PUT'N IT ON for the camera! Like, she's GORGEOUS too and WE do make a FABULOUS pair of girls! Like, I really do love her. She's MY big sis, and I hang with her ALL the time!

Oh, but the Queen Rose didn't like the camera! Like TOTALLY! Like she had this panic attack going on, I mean like it was just SO weird! Mom was so frustrated with her. She tried to make Rose "stay" but like, she TOTALLY freaked out ... she saw the CAMERA! The lady got a picture of a life time though... Ms Queen FINALLY calmed down long enough to get her picture taken. Like OMG!

It's MY BIRTHDAY!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! It's my birthday! Whoo-Hoo! Ta-da, da,da-tee-da! (I'm singing, jumping and wagging my tail).
I'm like, ONE YEARS OLD! How FABULOUS is that? I mean, really!
Guess what Mom did for me today?!
I got like, a huge cookie bone with carob on top! Mom would only let me have a part of it. She said if I ate it all, I'd have a tummy ache. Hmmm. Like, I already have this puberty thing where Mom thinks I have to wear panties anytime I'm running around in the house! How much worse could it be to eat a huge cookie? (sigh). Well, like she said, I could have some more tomorrow ... OH BOY!!! LIKE I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW!
Boing, boing, boing ... (I'm jumping). Woof, woof!
OOOH, and Dogster gave me some bones on my profile ... Like, that's so totally KEWL! Hehehe! Thank you Dogster!
