One day I decided it was time, so I looked in the paper at the free pets section. The only ad was for black lab/mix puppies. I called, and the man who answered said there was one puppy left - a male. I told him that I would come look at him immediately.
When I arrived, Amos' mother's owner walked out with him in his arms. All I saw was this black furball who looked so sweet and cuddly. I held him and decided that he was the pup for me. Bio: Amos came to me almost completely housebroken at six-weeks-old. He is the smartest dog I have ever met, and he is really and truly is my baby.
Amos was the largest pup out of his litter, and I can believe that. I never thought that he would be as huge as he is. He weighs well over 100 pounds, and he as tall as me when he stands up.
