Guess it's time to update my page. I had a rough first year in this world. I was adopted out to two different homes and both decided they couldn't keep me. I'v heard rumblings about something to do with going potty. What's the big deal? So, there I was back in this awful looking kennel and let me tell you they didn't do a thinkg to spruce it up. Would it have killed them to place a throw over the door or put a stool in there? Come on, a girl's gotta have some decoration. Okay, so, there I was just sitting there and along comes these really nice ladies. Four of them to be exact. I'm thinking I've won the jackpot. Woo hoo! Then one of the ladies picks me up and tells me that I'm going home with her. She smelled really nice and petted me behind my ears. I gave her kisses I was so excited. She then left but one of the ladies stayed behind to keep me company. I really liked her too. I smelled that she had a couple of dogs at home. Playmates I'm thinking. This could get good. I love to play. After a little bit I got to go in the car and home with the one lady. I lived with her for about a year, I think. Hard to tell time cuz I'm a dog. My new momma got sick and had a hard time taking care of me and her so she decided to ask her bestest friend in the world if I could come stay with her. I know her by Aunt Nancy. I've stayed at Aunt Nancy's house before and I really like it there. She's got this great patio door that lets in all this sun and a cool cat. And the bestest thing is my Shelly lives really close to her. My Shelly would come over and let me out and take me on walkies when I lived with my other momma. Now Shelly comes over all the time to play with me.
Things are going great at my new house. My Aunt Nancy works from home so I get to hang out with her all day. Sometimes she takes me over to Shelly's house and I get to play with my buds, Henry and Griffin. Life's good!

I had to remind my Aunt Shell (Griff and Henry's mom) that she needed to update my diary because it's been far too long. Summer has finally arrived but thank goodness mom has this thing that blows cold air around the house. I love to sit in front of the vents and let it blow on me.
I lost my kitty a few months ago. She got really sick and mom took her to the doctor and when she came back she wasn't with her. Mom told me that she needed to go rest and would be much happier at the bridge where she could see and hear again. I was kittyless for about two weeks when mom came home with a new kitty. Actually she's about 5 but she's super sweet and we are becoming bestest buds. Mom named her Callie and we kind of match. I will have my Aunt Shell put some pictures of us up on my page.
Nothing else too exciting is going on. I keep my mom company as she works. I really like it that she can work from home.

How cool is that. It's been a crazy couple of weeks getting ready for the big move and then getting to see and smell my new place and now this. I don't think there's a better way to top it all off. Of course I will never pass up a treat. I will have to be extra special cute today in order to get a couple of extra treats out of mom. Oh and my Aunt Shelly will give me a couple of extra treats too when I see her tonight.
I'm almost too excited to type. It's hard getting my paws to hit the keys.

Wow! It's been a whole week and then some since I moved into my new house and I'm loving every minute of it. There are so many great spots to get up and look outside at and all the cars. Plus there are steps I can run up and down and get my exercise on. Mom has the place all set up and pictures hung and of course my dog bed. Even the cat, Katie has her own chair. Of all the things.
My Aunt Shelly came over and put up this white stuff on the deck so I don't go jumping off. Something about the slats being too wide and I might decide to go exploring. Gotta keep a girl safe. Now I can go out on the deck and dine with mom in style. She even has a water dish out there for me.
It's a lot quieter here then where I lived before but that's okay, there are still lots of cars that go by. I just love watching those.
I'll post pictures soon too!
