My name is Dances With Snow and I am a miniature Eskie. My mom found me at the pound when I was small. All I had for comfort there in that big, cold concrete cell was a little squeaky toy from my previous home. I was so scared and confused. No one wanted me because I was so hyper and nervous. My mom fell in love with me, though. She thought I was the perfect dog to bring home to be sisters with Snowflake (another little white dog who had just lost her best friend to cancer). Well, I was the perfect fit, and with lots of love and structure, I became calm. I also became my mom's soulmate. She says she's never seen a more beautiful or wise dog. I love to sit by windows and watch the seasons change. At night, I love to just stare at my mom when she is sleeping. I love my babies...mom bought me lots of squeaky toys...I tuck them in at night; I groom them; and I even try to feed them. Every night, I get a Nilla Wafer, and that's my most favorite treat. My mom says she sees the wolf in me. I sense storms before they come. I love to listen to the trains go by. Mom says I'm beautiful. Recently, we moved from the Deep South to the Southwest. I miss my favorite window, gently falling rain, walks in the park, and all of my friends. Now, I have a whole new world to explore...it's so different, but mom says she will never leave me. She will love me forever. And that's all I need to know.
