Toys??? She would rather nurture all the furkids. She is always grooming them.
Favorite Food:
She eats what ever is put down. She would rather have people food but that is not allowed. She is not happy with that house rule.
Favorite Walk:
She does good in the yard but if she is put on a leash to go for a walk, it is drag time. She puts on the brakes and there is no moving her. So I have to carry her down the street just to get her to run home and run home she does....
Best Tricks:
She knows how to melt your heart with this certain look. I call it the Scooter look. Will post a picture of it when I get them back
Arrival Story:
Scooter was born here at home. She was they only pup. At 5 weeks she started loosing the use of her hind legs and then went down. The Vet suggested to put her down. At 5 weeks old, I just couldn't do it. I brought her home and started physical therapy. I did stretching excercises and then warm baths. When she was 8 weeks old, I took her back to the Vet and he said "Where is Scooter?" I told him this was her. The reason he didn't believe it was she was putting weight on her hind legs. He asked me if I had a video camera and I told him I did. He wanted me to video everything I did with her and bring it back in two weeks. When I took her in, he couldn't keep her on the table to check her out. I gave him the video and he watched it and his mouth dropped. He asked to make a copy of it to keep. So, a long story made short, my Scooter came out of it and has had a few litters of babies. Now this girl cops an attitude when she comes into heat and doesn't get Pregnant. She morns, she won't eat, you name it. She is a witch. When her sister Tuckie had babies and she didn't, yep you guessed it. She got right in the bed with her and helped nurse those four babies. Those babies were not hurting for groceries. The Vet said she is a natural born mother. She needs babies to nurture. She is in her glory. She took over and nurtured Tuckie when I adopted her. She took over and nurtured the rescue babies I brought in. She is one amaizing little girl. One of a kind to be sure.

I want to take this time to thank all the most wonderful friends and families for all their love, concern and incredible Prayers. As you know, I got injured really bad and had to have emergency surgery. They lost me on the table but my wonderful Dr brought me back. It just wasn't my time to go. But I am not doing very well. I have so much fluid built up and my Dr put me on Lasix. It is not doing it's job. I went in to see him yesterday (Jan 14th) and he told mama that he can't increase the dosage as he has me at the max dosage. He is giving me until Tues and if it hasn't worked, he will have to take me off them.
My Dr did something that we have never heard of. He told mama that I needed some teeth removed as they were so infected. When she heard what the surgery was going to be she cried when she told him that she will have to wait. She came back to see me before I went into surgery only to find out I had had the surgery. They showed mama the bill and there was two items crossed off. He had removed my nasty teeth and he marked it off as did he his time. She gave him a big hug and cried. What a wonderful Dr he is. She got to see me and when she saw all the massive bruise's and stitches she leaned down and hugged me so gently and cried. She kept saying over and over how sorry she was for not being there to protect me. I was to groggy to tell her it wasn't her fault and I love her. Had she been home Daisy would have never attacked me. I just couldn't protect myself and I know if mama hadn't come home when she did I truly think Daisy would have done severe damage to me. Mama went home and when she came back for me she brought almost a truck load of delicious cup cakes for the Dr and staff. Were they ever happy.
I don't know what God has in store for me but I am ready for whatever he has planned for me. I don't want to leave all the furs here and my mama but I am tired and I am sick. I don't want mama to go through anymore. She doesn't want me to go through anymore. When it is my time to journey to the Bridge, please my friends and families, be there for my mama and all the furs here. It is going to be harder on them than me. I will be free of sickness and pain. I will be with my fur mama, grandma, Uncle Tucker, Auntie Tuckie and my precious Nephew Tiger Spy and most of all mama Wendy. Uncle Spy came back to be with all of us and he is watching over me. I love him so.
There is one other fur I would love for you to be there for. My darling Rufus. His ID is http://www.dogster/dogs/406755 He is the love of my life. I adore him and his furles sissy. OMD I love them so. Here I am possibly at the end of my time here and I find the love of my life. I am so fortunate that I was honored to have found him. Rufus, my darling, I will be here as long as I can and praying every day that they will find something to help me so I can stay here with you, sissy and my friends and families.
My biggest wish now is...mama Nancy applied for her to get help for my badly needed Dental work. I guess they figured because of my age, health I was a risk. Now our Red who is much younger and no health problems but badly infected teeth, that they will consider to help him. He is full of infection. The only thing I want is for them to say "YES we will help him in Scooter's memory". With the money that mama has put out on my medical care she could have gotten Red's teeth taken care of. So everyone say a prayer that he and mama will get the help they so desperately need for our Red.
Again my wonderful friends and family here on Dogster/Catster and at home thank you for such loving, caring support you have shown me. I do love you all.
Rufus my darling, you are and will forever be my soul mate.

Hello all furs that live in Oregon. This year we are going to have a Dogster Pup Meet. We are shooting for Sept 17th. We now have a Dog Park opened so we have a safe place for all your precious furs. We would love to have all thoes who live in Oregon...or any State for that matter... that would love to come to please pmail us and let us know your interest in having one. It would be wonderful to meet in the fur. There will be drawings and gifts for the ones attending. Lots of pictures and a video will be taken and posted on Dogster. I live in California but I am going to have a sit down strike until my daddy agrees to bring me.
Please plan to bring a picture of your Bridge Angel as we will have a memorial table to honor them.
