The Dog Days of Paddington

3 years old today

Happy Birthday to Miss Paddington! We celebrated with great big birthday bones. Paddington gobbled hers up even though it was a bone that was meant to last. Zayna was savoring hers while Paddington gave her puppy dog eyes. I don't think puppy dog eyes are supposed to work on other dogs but before we knew it Paddington had Zayna's bone. She's a good big sister! They passed the bone back and forth for the rest of the night.

Outward Bound

Paddington just returned from a camping trip at Hickory Run State Park. She took the trip with her sister Zayna and her mom and dad. Camping is a special treat for many reasons but one of the main reasons is getting to snuggle up on the air mattress with mom and dad. At home Paddington and Zayna can't sleep in their mom and dad's bed. We were in the part of the campground that allowed dogs and all the surrounding sites also had dogs. Paddington and Zayna were very good though about just watching the other dogs and not barking at them or trying to run over to them.
