Today was such a pretty nice spring day and we were outside with mom taking a walk when I decided (as usual) it would be fun to take on the attack pose and wait on Emma to get close enough to me that I could POUNCE on her. Somehow when i pounced, jumped, ran and spun in a circle I cut my paw on something in the yard? Mom didn't notice it untill i was coming thru the garage leaving a trail of blood behind me. As mom inspected it sure enough I cut a gash in one of my front pads. I was a very good patient mom said while she got the bleeding to stop and bandaged my paw topping it off with some duct tape. now how silly is that? guess she must think i might try and chew off the bandage? But the day turned out well. Mom had to make a run to check on one of the dogs she is pet sitting for and I got to ride along in the truck and hang my head out the window. It was a fun trip and I even took a little nap on the way home. over all a pretty good Sunday.
I'm pretty worried about this because usually the Easter Bunny brings Emma and I some nice squeeky toys, treats and some goodies... but mom has been telling me tonight that he probably won't be stopping here this year? It was just one little mistake I made today.. It was a beautiful spring day here and Emma and I spent all day outside running and playing.. and then I just couldnt help myself. I just happen to run past some Raccoon poop and decided one quick roll on it wouldnt surely hurt anything. Boy it sure was fun.. rolling on that.. with all 4 paws in the air.. I jumped up all excited and ran like crazy all happpy and excited about what I had found and done. Then I heard mom yell for us to come inside.. so I thought oh goodie... i can't wait to show mom what I found. Can you believe she wasnt happy at all? Actually she looked mad and made this awful face like as if something stunk? I said " oh it's just me mom I found something special in the yard" Well needless to say it all went down hill from there. So I probably won't sleep very well tonight worring and wondering if the Easter Bunny will be mad at me too and not bring me anything special?
